"John Hambrick challenges North American and Western Christians to do the very thing most of us studiously avoid: move toward the messiest people and situations in life. John's book will challenge you to do the very thing you least feel like doing. In the process, you might discover the two things you so desperately need: transformation and Christ."

As a father of 14, 12 of whom are adopted and have varied degrees of disability, it really caused me to think about what I'm doing to actively model this kind of life to my kids. Being a large family we can have the tendency to get wrapped up in surviving what's going on at our house never mind what's happening in the word around us. But, John did a great job of giving everyone something to think about.
I loved it and have recommended it to several other people.
