DEEP FUNK PEARLS INDEED

I've listened to a lot of these 'rare funk' compilations and have been around the block with the deep bin funk, but I have to say that I hadn't heard most of these. And they're mostly good, often real good.

Nice job compiling truly rare grooves. Recommended for funk heads and serious collectors for sure, though anyone who picks it up will be pleased.

Very nice comp that covers some afro-funk, bogaloo, some jazzier stuff, and straight forward funk

Some comps are classic, some just decent. This is neither, but has end to end great material and a nice running order.

Definately a formitable fish in a massive pond.

Da lacht und weint das schwarze Herz zur gleichen Zeit, vor Kummer und Freude. Vor Freude, weil man endlich wieder mal etwas aus der goldenen Zeit des Funk und Soul hören kann, was nicht schon auf hunderten von Samplern aufgetaucht ist.Vor Kummer, weil genau das nur noch ganz selten vorkommt.Um so gößer die Freude, also: Drückt die Play-Taste, schließt Eure Augen und geht auf eine fantastische Zeitreise in die 60er / 70er Jahre. Die Kenner unter Euch werden ein Deja Vu - Erlebnis der besonderen Art haben, alle anderen mit Musik im Blut werden begeistert staunen. Und alle gemeinsam sollten dann eines tun: DIESES ALBUM KAUFEN!!!
