I love this tripod and i use it everyday. As others stated it is loose at first but you just need to adjust the little allen screw just a tad tighter. Once that is done it is very sturdy, tight and became a essential piece of equipment in my use.

The ball joint! I have to agree with a couple of the other reviews about tightening the ball joint. I really like the product overall and it's probably very good for compact cameras and cellphones but I can barely tighten the ball joint screw enough to steady my Canon t6i with 135mm lense...I have a plstic mini tripod that is more stable than this one and will likely continue using that one instead...disappointing

I really like the concept and the price. The size weight and comfort in the hand are great, the stability is great, the looks are great.

Some things that need improvement. Every set screw and the ball head feel gritty. If you break in the ball head it smooths out but the set screws need some grease on them to feel better. I used some tefgel grease which helped quite a bit and allowed me to actually get the ball head set screw tighter than without grease. As a side note, do not put grease on the ball, that is not a good idea. The last thing that needs improvement is the adhesive they use to attach the strips of rubber grip on the legs. These started peeling off within hours of use. I'm tempted to try regluing them with something because they do add a nice nonslip feel to the legs when using them as a grip. I may also just put some type of grip tape on the legs instead because i can tell already this grip is not going to stay on.

Overall the design I think is genius, usability can be improved dramatically with some grease on a few screws but its easy to see why this is one of the lower priced table top tripods out there.
