Product Description

Size:Shoe Doubler

The Movo Photo HVA20 Accessory Shoe bracket mounts onto a camera's accessory shoe in order to provide two additional accessory shoes for mounting lights, monitors, microphones, or other accessories. In addition to the shoe mount, a 1/4-20 thread is also available for attaching the bracket to a tripod, rig, or other bracket featuring a 1/4-20-threaded mount. The bracket is constructed from rigid, yet lightweight aluminum alloy, and the mounting shoes are machined out of the same piece as the bracket, for additional strength. The accessory shoes also feature backstops for greater security when attaching accessories. The bottom shoe that attaches to the camera features a locking pin, which keeps the shoe in place and prevents the shoe from rotating during use.

This bracket is exactly what I was looking for. I tried two other (very unsuccessful) models before finding this. I simply wanted to mount a light and mic on my camera's hot shoe, and this allowed me to do it.

My only very slight complaint is that the length of the bracket is a little shorter than I would prefer. My mic and light barely manage to avoid contact. However, a great and unexpected aspect of this bracket is that it can be mounted both parallel and perpendicular to the user. In my case, mounting an H2n and Rotolight on my camera, the coordination actually works a little better when perpendicular.

The build quality is pretty sturdy, and the cold shoes allow things to snap into place easily. Great design. Its incredible how many others manage to screw it up!

Having purchased a different "triple" shoe mount by VONOTO before this, I can say that this one is perfect. The one I bought previously was awful. Each shoe was a different size, so not all of my accessories fit, it was really tall and wobbled a lot, and the top shoe was really crooked. This one fits all of my cold shoe lights and mics. It is on the small side. (which I like better, not as wobbly) The distance between each shoe is less than 2 1/2 inches, but it fits my NEEWER CN-216 light and my TAKSTAR SGC-598 mic just right, leaving a few centimeters of space in between them. Solid all metal build, each shoe is level, and with the shorter profile it looks more professional. GREAT SHOE BRACKET!

I've been looking for one of these for a while now, but either they had poor reviews or they were way overpriced. The Movo Photo bracket is great! It's metal construction, solidly built and works perfectly! I can hold my LED light and my wireless lav receiver on it with no problems. Definitely recommend!

Even though amazon suggests you buy this with the Neewer light, it won't work as the brackets are too thick for the light to fit. My guess is this will cause a problem for other devices as well. The machined metal where the devices slip into are 2-3 times thicker than the ones on most cameras. Most cameras shoes are stainless steel, this is aluminum, which needs to be thicker to have the same strength. Other than that nice product. This is the unit that won't fit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004TJ6JH6/ref=pd_bxgy_421_2?ie=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B004TJ6JH6&pd_rd_r=RZA9N24P2TKHBWXP0TWE&pd_rd_w=U0yko&pd_rd_wg=gxK7j&psc=1&refRID=RZA9N24P2TKHBWXP0TWE

The bracket is great quality but the bottom shoe mount moves, the whole
bracket shakes when I am walking around, sorry to say its not a good
product out the box.

The only solution is to remove that shoe-mount at the bottom and buy a 1/4
shoe-mount adapter tripod mount screw drill out the old and replace.

Its not heavy duty as advertised..Movo Photo HVA20 Heavy-Duty Video Accessory Dual Shoe Bracket for Lights, Monitors, Microphones and More

The reason I didn't bother to return it was because I now live overseas
and it would be more hassle, yes it would be a great product but you need
to solve that minor problem..

This little guy is just fine for hanging three lightweight and small devices. Would't it be nice if the center/top shoe passed the signaling capabilities from the cameras hot shoe along? Just sayin' ..... The 1/4" 20-threaded feature is a nice touch so you can attach it to a tripod easily.

This may not be bad for the price, but mine broke within minutes. The cold shoe mount was not welded very well onto the base, so when I screwed it onto a 1/4" thread, it broke off without much force on my part. It will probably work fine if you mount it with lighter weight items and avoid using the bottom thread unless you're careful with it. If it hadn't broken I would have been perfectly happy with it. It's smaller than it looked in the photos, which I considered a good thing.

I use this to connect a ninja 2 on the left cold shoe and a rode mic on the right shoe, works great.

overall i like it, does exactly what its advertised to do. the only complaint i have is that the point where the bottom mount connects with the bracket (where the little screw hole is that you can see in the photo) is a little wobbly. I thought maybe you could just tighten it, but it doesn't appear to tighten. It's not bad just a very minor wobble, but i'd prefer it to be rock solid.

Please do keep in mind this turns your hot shoe into two cold shoes, meaning there is no connectivity to the camera anymore.
