UPDATE: Jason from Movo contacted me and they sent me a new cable, free of charge. The new cable does seem to do a better job attenuating "hot," hissing sound signal coming from my Zoom H1 into an A7Sii.
I would recommend Movo based on their customer service.
I also chose to put in line a Mpow Ground Loop Noise Isolator because when I move my recorder to different locations it has a tendency to pick up a lot of noise introduced by the variations in power, ground loops , and typical "machine noise" that is commonplace when you connect PCs, mixers, and consumer grade audio recorders in the same chain.
Applications include a audio mixer that you want the output to mate up with a video camera or phone input.
It is like hitting the signal with a hammer as it attenuates the signal by my estimation 35db. If that is what you need this is the bomb for you.

Works well - a little expensive for what it is, but worth it to get a low noise floor from tthe line out.
It works better on the DSLRs but still not as good as if I am recording with a Zoom H1/H1n on the talent instead of connected to the camera using the Rode Smart lav or wireless Sennheisers.
Good if you are on a budget and haven't got a smart lav and just want to stick it on the camera in which case I still recommend using a foamy and small furry dead mouse (YKWIM)
