I use this for podcasting/ video on my phone with a co-host. The male plug in is a little loose in a traditional audio port. You'll need a adapter if your phone doesn't have one.
The sound quality is great you just plug and launch your recording app and go. I wish the cord was longer for video recording (You have to stand close if using a tripod).
Otherwise it was a good last minute addition to a mobile video podcast set up.
