This book picks up right after Roadie, having the guys tour around Europe and come back to the US in Seattle. We get to meet Pax's parents, his fiancee and then back home we get some insight on some of the other guys and their family/background. I still think Roadie was emotionally more powerful for me, unlike some of the other reviews I skimmed through, but I think its all about how the events impact each reader differently.
In this book you can see how the group is better together, how they heal each other and make themselves stronger. They have to go through some more difficult times/have to break down more of their internal barriers, but they end up better together at the end. This series allows me to escape emotionally but also has a "nice" dose of steam haha. I love the Ran/Pax dynamic and wish we could get more. I disagree with a lot of readers that say they don't like them together since Lilith is not always involved, but in the story Ran/Pax have known each other for forever and if Lilith is ok with it/sees the love they have for each other, then thats all that matters (I know the characters are fictional!).
This series left me with a series book hangover, be prepared haha. I am glad CM has continued with the RH genre, since she is fantastic at it. Can't wait to see what she does next <3
The book picks up just after book 2 ended having the men on tour around Europe and then back home in Seattle. We finally get to meet Pax’s parents and his fiancée and wow what a scene that was. Have to say i wanted to slap some sense into them. Definitely understand where Pax comes from after that fun time.
In this book we see how the group is starting to heal from the emotional roller coasters from book 1 and 2. I disagree with some of the other reviewers and love both Pax and Ran story both with Lilith and their story that is just between them. I loved how through Lilith they were able to be healed for their love to show through for both each other and Lilith and the guys.
Then ending for me was a bit short and with the emotional highs and lows that this series put me through i hope that we get another book to see what happens later in the lives of these amazing characters.
Just warning you this series left me with a serious book hangover and it was soooooooooooooooo Worth it.
If you have not picked up the previous books. DO IT. You wont be disappointed
This 3rd and final book of the series takes place on the world tour. Lilith and the boys travel to various countries and I loved it. As someone who has not had the chance to travel much in the US let alone outside of it, I enjoyed reading about the touristy things they did.
We find out what was bothering Pax and boy was it entertaining to see it all worked out. I love you's are finally said all around and they commit to trying to make it work between the six if them.
My only complaint is I need an extended epilogue!
Perhaps the book just didn't feel complete to me. Maybe there will be some kind of extra epilogue that Stunich could write, if she has time between all of her other projects.
I don't hate the M/M romance between Pax and Ran, although I didn't really pick up on any real attraction there. I couldn't catch the sexual tension between the two my first read through of Groupie, and it felt a little forced to me in Roadie and Moxie.
Either way, while this might not has been the most satisfying ending to the series (even though it was HEA), the series itself is pretty good and a great reverse harem to read! Especially the sexy parts. Always the sexy parts.
This story, just like the first two is not for the faint of heart. Seriously. I am not joking. There are INTENSE hot and heavy scenes that honestly I might have had to walk away once or twice for. I can admit it.
I'll admit I felt like there was SOMETHING missing. I'm not entirely sure what...but something. Maybe it's just my way of wishing for a book 4. Regardless I will always find myself coming back to these 3 books as a re-read when I need a fun yet emotional and steamy read
