Unlike the Amazon Basics cable (which has rounded ends) this cable has a squared end which fits nicely into the Otterbox Defender case. There are no error messages on the iPhone6, so the "Apple Certified" status is correct. I am hard on cables (and on phones, which is why I buy Otterbox cases) and I am very happy to have a well-made cable that is not too expensive.

I have always been pleased with MPOW products. They are amongst the best vendors of electronic cables and gadgets, and this cable is no exception. I show you the cable in the video (take a look) and have been using it to charge my iPhone 5, download photos, and upload music and have had no problems whatsoever. The overall length is 41-3/4 inches from housing edge to housing edge, plenty of length for the average desk user or business traveler. And much less expensive than the Apple original, so if you need another lightening cable, by all means, get one of these. Thumbs up!

Kind of disappointed, however this review may changed depending on the support I receive. Bought several of these cables in December, but one is no longer "recognized" by my iPhone. Hoping their warranty will replace the dead cable.

WOW! Talk about your pre-emptive warranty replacement! Thank you MPOW. I hadn't even filed a warranty claim yet and the new cable arrived. I'll put this one through the ringer and hopefully it will do better.

Purchased three of these. So far they work perfectly with the iPhone 5c. No ios 8 error messages. Plug feels sturdier than oem cable. Only possible issue I could see is the plug is slightly larger than oem so it might be a problem with some cases.

So far so good. But to be honest my expectations of similar chargers is pretty low due to how many have malfunctioned. This particular brand is holding up pretty well so far (after a few weeks). I'm trying not to twist and bend it too much to avoid damaging wiring.
