I've been a longtime LG customer, have owned 4 pairs, both the high end and cheaper models...but for some reason I keep misplacing them. They all worked great, but as the cheapest model I can now find costs $35, I thought I'd look for a more inexpensive solution. Also, cheaper models seem to have shiny chrome features on them which make them look cheesy to me. I saw the Mpow Jaws headset...the reviews were fairly good...the low price was awesome, so I ordered a pair, and after a week. I can't believe I spent as much as I did for the LG headphones...I think my new headset is superior. For one thing the earpieces fit better and they snap back into their holders easily, and securely...LG earpieces get knocked off too easy. I'd have to say the sound of the Mpow is louder and clearer and the button functions are as easy to use as the LG.

Combining the best of both worlds, the Mpow allows for the support and grip provided by ear cup style headphones, while providing the flexibility of an earbud. In other words, they wont fall out of your ear because the wire is jangling about while running, they wont get caught on equipment or tangled, they wont get violently ripped out of your ear by a passing desk corner, and you never have to worry about storing them because you can easily forget about them laying on your neck. The battery really does last all day, and the controls are the most accessible of any ear set I have ever worked with, ever. After about six months one ear piece stopped working under abusive conditions in an automotive repair and fabrication shop.

Don't expect them to perform like a hundred fifty dollar luxury FLAC level earbud set, but expect sound quality well into the mid and upper ranges. It performs orders of magnitude better than any skull candy system I have used, and puts out sound exactly as you would expect a thirty dollar system to be able to do.

Battery life is good, connection to iPhone 6S is quick and stable, connection to Windows 7 PC is unreliable and most times establishing the connection fails. This is most likely a reflection of Windows 7, not the headset, though if that's what you need be forewarned.

For the fortunate few that are able to connect to their Windows PC, the audio quality should be similar, though perhaps not exactly as good as their phone, as long as it's in headphones and not headset mode. Apparently the bandwidth required by the Bluetooth connection for both the mic and headphones is sufficient that Windows drivers will limit the sample frequency down to about what telephone sample rate of 11khz - 16khz which sounds much worse than we've come to expect from modern audio devices. Changing the setting to headphones mode turns off the mic and restores full 24khz or better sampling rates.

I own 3 Bluetooth headsets - Logitech (over the ear), Tair Sports (around the neck) & this Mpow Jaws. For clear high-quality sound, battery life and overall satisfaction, this is the best by far. I also like that it has buttons that allow me to skip songs and so forth, compared to the other headphones that only have on/off and sound control. The only drawback to this product that I've found is that because it's heavier/bulkier than the Tair, it bounces around more when I'm doing exercises that require a lot of bounce or head movement (like jogging and such). That said, this is my go-to headset for making important phone calls, when I go for a walk and when I'm working, traveling and so forth.

*Updated after the initial three star review*
These lasted until 6 days after the return period expired.
To be specific; these are still operational for as long as the battery will last; it's just that the charging circuit has failed, rendering them inoperable when they finally lose charge.
Up until this point, these have been really fantastic. I get most of a day's use out of them (I work 16+ hour days in relatively extreme environments and these have lasted well through most every day) and have had a lot of use out of them. I will buy a second pair and see if I can make them last a little longer than a month; but if not, this review will be updated.
*This initial review was for three stars, as a fluke broken first pair would have merited 5 stars had the second pair lasted. As I had been using the first pair in extreme environments, I wanted to give these a chance to be used normally, hopefully with good results*

*updated review*
I was truly hoping to leave a five star rating after the second pair; but these have failed AGAIN exactly 6 days after the return window closed. Return window closed June 13, 2017, today is June 19, 2017.
The first pair did not vibrate, this pair did. I see that there are possibly two versions of these; and if so, I seem to have had both fail exactly the same way, in ironically the exact same time frame.
As before, these were a good value while they worked. Good sound and good connectivity, but working well only for a month is still a bad product.
Both have failed in the same way, the same part of the charging (or charge detect) circuit failing. Either way, these have both stopped recharging, rendering the battery and therefore the headphones; useless.
After my initial review of three stars; the seller Patozon reached out to me and offered a refund for the first pair. As I had already opened the first pair up to diagnose the problem after realizing the window had closed, I could not with good conscience accept the offer and instead bought another pair to try to be considerably more careful with. I have used only low power (0.8amp or lower) chargers instead of my usual (2.1amp sockets for phones, tablets, etc); I have kept usage down to an approximate average of 4 hours a day instead of 16+; and finally, I have not used these in the hot environments I work in and have only used and stored them in air conditioned environments, preventing them from overheating.
Unfortunately, with this second failure of the replacements I bought and treated as well as possible while still being used; I cannot give these any more than two stars.
If I again need a very short term pair of Bluetooth headphones, I would buy these again; but as things are moving towards wireless requirements; I would never buy any item from this brand again and will warn others against buying this specific headphone set again.

On the positive side; this review is only about the product. I believe the seller (dealer, importer? No idea quite which); Patozon would be an excellent company to deal with. They were prompt with their offer of refund and seem very genuine. It is for this reason alone that I can rate the product two stars rather than one.

As for the previous pair; I have modified it to eliminate the original internal battery and to be waterproof. It currently operates in it's modified version (think Frankenstein's monster, they don't look at all as nice as they did from the factory) the rest of my average 16 hour days in the extreme environments I work in. I just wish it would have worked as was.

My initial review of this was Meh because of noise heard by people on the other end of conversations with me. Customer service for this company is FABULOUS. They sent me a new one and it works great. The bluetooth connects easily. It "goes to sleep" when not in use but "wakes up" immediately when a call comes in with no lag time. The earbuds stay securely (magnetically) attached to the neckband when not in use. It rests comfortably around the neck. The earbuds fit comfortably in the ears. It comes with a few different sizes of ear cushions for just the right fit. If I am driving I only use one earbud for the conversation and that is sufficient to hear the conversation. I have a relative and a friend who are hard to hear on the phone but with two ear buds I have no problem at all hearing/understanding what they are saying. Good crisp sound when listening to music. With the controls on the neckband there is no need to take your phone out of your pocket/purse/holster to change songs, turn volume up or down, or answer phone calls. It works with my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 voice controls. This has now become my go-to bluetooth.

My son found this set and said, "Buymedis," so I buyed him this :)

Form factor is more than generous for my son's gigantic not-quite-a-teenager sized head. He won't take these off, says the earbuds are never uncomfortable.

- Noise cancelling is EXCELLENT. My son can now not hear a single thing I say, he's watching streaming media and I call his name and he won't look up. We were in the car and it was time to get out to go in the store and he didn't even know the car had stopped or turned off, or I was getting out, slamming the door. Just completely oblivious. I checked and he was only about 50% volume on his app on his Note 4 or whatever he's got now.

- Easy pairing, so easy my almost-70 dad can do it and my 10 year-old son can do it. I didn't have to lift a finger

- Long battery life, He can easily get a few hours of continuous use out of the pair at a respectable volume, whether he's on a call or listening to music, obviously they can go overnight and then some when paired by not receiving audio

- Quick charging, One and done in an hour and some change.

- Durable - He's already dropped them eighty four million times as is the custom with an uncoordinated youngster

Honestly if they didn't make me look like a ST:TNG extra, I would get a pair for myself, but I personally prefer over the ear models. My son wanted this specific type and is thrilled with them, he said it's the best 20 bucks I ever spent (eye roll).

I am absolutely loving this headset. The collar in the back is very flexible, but seems sturdy. The earbuds are very nice and noise isolating, and the magnetic holders are strong and effective. The buttons are easy to use, and quite easy to access. The multi-function play button is on the left module, on the left side of it (simple to get to). The battery life is phenomenal. I have a cheap chinese black and red earbud model (no collar), a skull candy uproar wireless (over ear), and I've used an older QY7 version a year or two back, + various mono bud headsets. This is my favorite model so far. I work 40+ hour weeks so I need something that won't crush my ears, and something that will last longer than 5+ hours. This is it! The ear buds are comfortable, the weight of the thing is pretty light. I don't notice any of it other than what's playing in my ears. Clear sound. Can't attest to the phone call clarity, but it's the best sounding bluetooth headset I've tried so far, and one of the cheapest. I bought the zipper case to go with it. You really can't beat this for the price. It seriously rivals that of the other "more expensive" brands with the same design, if you know what I mean (for a fraction of the cost). I love the quality and the style of this thing so far. If anything changes, I'll update my review. I read countless reviews trying to decide which headset to get, and I ended up with this one because of the battery life, price, and the earbud style. It was also incredibly easy to pair... I have an iPhone, and all I did was turn on the headset and go to settings > bluetooth > connect to Mpow Jaws and done!

This Bluetooth headset is a clever design. It puts the weight of the batteries and electronics down low, resting against your collar bone, with a band that runs around the back of your neck. Better ergonomics than headsets that carry the weight in a headband or (worse) hang all the weight around your ears. The device paired easily, and the controls are reasonably intuitive. The sound quality of the earbuds is OK; certainly good enough for watching shows or background music. Overall, I'd give this product five stars as a listening device. It did not work for me, though, as a device for phone calls or videoconferences. The quality on the receiving end isn't nearly as clear as with a standard headset and boom mic (like those from Logitech, Jabra, or MS). This Mpow headset is OK for short phone calls, or for calls where it doesn't matter if you sound a bit distant and muffled. I was hoping to use this headset for video conferences (Skype, Zoom, WebEx, etc.) rather than always wearing "ears", but the sound mic quality isn't good enough for business meetings or online classes. Bottom line: 4-5 stars as "listen-only" headset; 2-3 stars as a headset for phone/video calls; average out to 3-4 stars.

UPDATE: Mpow reached out to me after I posted this review and offered a replacement headset, in case the sound quality issue was product defect. Unfortunately, the microphone quality seems to be inherent in the design of the product (vs. a headset with a boom mic), but I give a lot of credit to Mpow for proactively reaching out to customers with issues. Great customer service counts.

Update 6/12/17: I started having problems with these headphones after the 30-day cutoff for returns to Amazon had passed. Even though the phones were fully charged, they started beeping constantly. Calls and music were interrupted. I contacted Patazon via the Amazon email system. Patazon promptly mailed me a new set. So A+ to Patazon for EXCELLENT customer service! Great company to do business with. 5 stars are maintained.

My MPow Bluetooth Neckband headphones were just delivered. So far so good. They're laid out just I like them, with volume controls on one side, forward/back control on the other. They were charged right out of the box. After I bring them down to empty, I'll give them a full charge and measure how long the charge lasts.

I've had a number of different brands of these type of headphones. So far, they've all crapped out on me. The Soundpeats (both pair) lost the connection on the left ear. Another brand, the buttons just fell off. These MPows come with an 18-month warranty from the manufacturer.

I do have a high end pair of Sony over the ear Bluetooth headphones, but they're heavy and hot in the summer or gym.

The EarPods that came with my iPhone 7 have incredible sound, but they hurt my hears, fall out and I just don't want to get tangled in wires anymore. I thought about getting the AirPods but can't see spending $160 on a set I'm sure would fall out.

Sound on these is full from bass to middle to treble. So we'll see. I will update after I've had them awhile or any issues come up.
