Beware that not all RAV 4's will accommodate this holder. The dashboard of my 2013 curves, is wavy, something you wouldn't even notice if you didn't need a completely flat dashboard surface. There is no area for the holder to be secure without a gap underneath it. I can't even find a flat area closer to the windshield, because the glass is slanted in such a way that the phone in the holder is too tall. I am now trying to stick in onto my console, and I find two things. The console is textured so there isn't a real good "stick", and also because of this, if I tilt the phone to a desired viewable angle, it falls over, the phone is too heavy. I have an iphone 6s, not the 7 as has been mentioned before. The only way to deal with this is to limit the amount of extension and tilt on the holder, so that the phone is practically straight up to keep it balanced. If it starts to fall in this position it will be useless and I will send it back. It is made well, however and the gel sticky part does not leave residue.I hope it works..

Had it for a week and it won't stay in place. Instead of holding my phone at eye-level, it holds it like that for 5 seconds, then drops down. I have a iPhone 6, not that heavy, but it can't hold the weight - ESPECIALLY when you're driving and there's a small bump in the road (which every road has). Not worth it

This phone holder easily attached to my car window, and has not fallen despite incredibly high temperatures over the last few weeks. It holds my phone comfortably, which has a large and bulky case on it for protection. My phone is also heavy with the addition of the case. The stand has held it well, however, and I trust it to keep my device safe.

I bought 2 of these, one for me and the other for my girlfriend. I liked it when it first arrived. A lot of adjustability, held the phones securely, stayed secured to the windshield well. Then summer arrived. This product did not like the heat well. Once it gets too hot the adhesive fails, and the "suction cup" provides no extra support. Both holders have yielded the same results. If you need something to hold your phone or like device in a cold environment, this product will work well for you. If it gets above 85 degrees, (best guess, no scientific data to support this exact temperature) go with the vent clip model.

The suction cup on this didn't work at all. I tried it on many different surfaces in my car. Even a totally flat surface near my gear shift didn't work. As soon as I turned at all the holder fell over. Once I tried it without the phone in it and the holder still fell over. Not a good purchase.

This thing is perfect. I have an iPhone 6s Plus with an OtterBox and this mount holds it just fine. I'm a delivery driver with a jeep, I'm on the road a lot and travel down a lot of bumpy, uneven roads. I stuck the mount on a smooth part of my dash and I haven't needed to touch it since. Even with my heavy phone and reckless driving the mount holds strong and doesn't fail. Very good product

Has a cool design, but the suction would not hold up my phone (galaxy s7). I tried cleaning the area, the suction, tried all sorts of configurations on the holder. Nothing worked. If it was extended, it would immediately fall over. If it was shortened, it would last a while but would fall after a minute or two. Very aggravating. Do noy waste your time or money.

A great fit for my Note 4 and sturdy enough to hold without vibration. It also easily transfers between my truck and my tractor.
