These are substantial cups with much more of a feel of strength and quality than I had expected. I bought them because I have little kids coming to stay at my house for a few weeks this summer, and I wanted to have something safe and unbreakable for them to drink from. I half-expected the type of plastic party cups you pick up from the grocery store. These are much more substantial and handsome. They are double-wall constructed, which gives them strength, but also keeps them from sweating pools of condensed water onto furniture. They also have a good grip to them, and a pretty finish. They hold a generous amount without being huge. I am very pleased with these. These are not built to use and toss away. They exceeded my expectations in every way.

Their ok, I wish they were 18 oz. and I've found somewhat lower priced products at Walmart that work pretty much as well as these. I really dislike the fact that there is such a variation in price across colors.
