The Mr. Long Arm Extension Pro-Pole will help professional and do-it-yourselfers get the job done fast. The two-section pole extends from 3 feet to 6 feet. This size pole is ideal for a variety of uses. The pole is made of a smooth fiberglass exterior handle with a heavy duty tri-oval aluminum slider. This provides excellent rigidity and is anodized to prevent rust, provide a smoother glide when extended and has a fluted round fiberglass handle for a better grip. The universal threads are die cast and fit most standard threaded tools. The Nylar universal threaded end fits most standard threaded tools. The compressed mechanism locks at any extended length. The coarse threads provide quick lock and unlock and prevent over-tightening. The end cap has a hole for peghook or easy storage.

I purchased the Mr. Long Arm 3212 Pro-Pole Extension Pole along with the Fruit Picker Head Tr20090 because Amazon says both items are usually purchased together. The problem is, the diameter of the pole is smaller than the diameter of the fruit picker's collar when crimped closed all the way! I had to wrap the pole's head with several layers of duct tape. That did the job! Both items now work well together. I have hooked onto strong branches in a very crowded tree and pulled VERY hard and the head hasn't slipped off the pole yet. I just thought I would let anyone planning to buy these items know.

Overall, this is a good pole - does the job. I have one caveat though: I used it to wash the windows along the back of my house using this pole and the LongArm washer/squeegee attachment. Cleaning windows requires some pressure against the window, especially for the squeegee or else it doesn't get clean. I had bought this pole with the reach I needed in mind, so I used it at full extension. The pole at full length with moderate pressure feels a little wobbly and bows along its length. This may become a bigger issue over time. Your use may not match mine, so fair warning.

I bought this pole, along with a grabber to change light bulbs, so that I don't have to climb a ladder to change recessed lights in my high ceiling. It works beautifully and the pole stores neatly in a corner of my laundry room so that it is readily accessible. I highly recommend this solution to other aging seniors who find ladders to be unsafe.

I purchased this item to attach to a fruit picker attachment. It has worked well the six times I used it. The pole is sturdy and ridged even at the maximum extension and with the weight of peaches and plums. The threaded section at the top fits well on attachments and seems well made. The coupling does not slip once tightened and adjustments to length are quick and easy to make. This was important to me since picking and thinning fruit often requires a twisting motion to release the fruit. A solid coupling was important.

Looks nice and came on time, BUT, when I used it for the first time, today, the threaded portion detached from the outer (yellow) shaft. So, now, when there is any pulling on the pole, the yellow portion detaches from the silver portion, making the pole pretty much useless.

When extended fully, it bends badly in the middle when trying to exert pressure against a paint roller high on the wall. If I had it to do over I would try one of the triangular ones or a different brand. The joint isn't tight enough for its intended purpose. But, like the title of my review says, it got the job done. I also used it one day (in combination with a ladder) to pull a plastic bag out of a tree. That is, it's nice to have the reach if you need it. It's light enough.

I am a residential painter and thought my Purdy Extension pole would work with Mr. Long Arm Brush or Bi Level Brush, it did not thread in, too large.

Purchased this pole, worked fine with all brush attachments, only issue is fully extended it flexes more than a solid heavy painters extension pole.

I actually dropped it off my roof while working, still works not bent, clamps work, only scuffed on end cap-- very durable!
