About the Author

Originally from Toronto, after graduating with an honors degree in Philosophy from the University of New Brunswick, Aaron began his career as a stand-up comedian at the famous Canadian comedy institution, Yuk Yuk’s. After years of crafting an act he began touring Canada and became a headlining comic. Nominated for two Canadian Comedy Awards and winner of the 2007 College Comedian of the year award, it was then time to go international. He has headlined the U.K., the United States, Japan, and Israel as part of the CBC Documentary “A UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE” which follows six comedians on a controversial tour of Israel. Aaron has appeared as part of the Boston Comedy Festival, The New York Comedy Festival, as well as the nationally televised Winnipeg Comedy festival. Aaron also performed his raw brand of stand-up at the world premiere of The Aristocrats film and on the world famous SET LIST show at the best comedy club in NYC …’The Stand’. Aaron can currently be seen as Floyd on the groundbreaking new television series 24 Hour Rental. Aaron’s first one-man show about his venture as a willing participant in the sex trade, The Underbelly Diaries completed an Off-Broadway run at Theatre Row in NYC in 2013 where it was met with critical acclaim. The show was described by New York theatre.com as “Shocking, disgusting (in places) and absolutely hilarious.” He also performed an Off-Broadway run of Jeremy Levy’s new play ‘21 days’. Aaron has appeared in the feature films Detroit Rock City, The Ladies Man, The Lookout, The Triumph of Dingus McGraw, and Boondock Saints 2:All Saints Day. Recent television guest appearances include Golden Boy (CBS), Elementary (CBS), Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), KING (SHOWCASE), BREAKOUT KINGS (A&E) and many more…. Aaron now resides in Harlem, NYC and is lonely.
