About Mr. Beau Durand
I am a native New Yorker. After much study in locations like Russia, Europe, & education in Hawaii, Las Vegas & San Diego, I settled in Colorado Springs where I moved my successful medical weight loss company, Life Prime (www.LifePrime.com). I continue to work for our largest school district driving special needs students each early morning and afternoon.
I write fiction with projects developing for YA, NA, and adult audiences. I love science fiction, fantasy, suspense, HORROR, thriller, romance. I’m especially interested in exploring the nature of life and where humans came from and are headed.
I hope you enjoy coming along as my first works hit the market in 2019. Plans include several series, including: VICTOR BLACK TM (New Adult), NEMESIS TM (New Adult/YA), AND MISCHIEVOUS MAX TM (Young Adult). Individual horror and mystery novels in production begin with BASILISK (Adult) due to publish this Fall 2019. Look for regular short stories beginning August 1, 2019.
Much of my interest in fiction and science fiction stems from amazing—and true—experiences I had while conducting research in astrophysics at the Bolshoi Observatory in Russia; after my sister’s sudden death on my birthday in 2010; from my time as a hotel manager and seeing real ghosts; and from experiences from my skydiving career, and more.
My education spans Russian Translation, International Relations and Law. I have built and lost companies, and NOW find that life really begins as I approach fifty.
