The Mutants/Moles don't really get introduced until the halfway point in the book, and by that time my interest had already waned pretty dramatically. It wasn't until it hit about 3/4 done that I felt like I was actually reading some serious action. Stuff had happened before then, yes, but not in any way that drew me in.
The time travel aspect was cool and enough though it has been done lots of times, the author manages to add his own twist in a couple ways, even including one with religious implications.
There's nothing bad about this book. I didn't hate it, or anything like that. It just never really managed to hook me, and if you're not hooked early on it, its really hard to care about what you're reading. I would still recommend others give it a try, even if it didn't 'do it' for me.
