Mrs. Anderson’s Graduated Round Cookie Cutter Set makes baking homemade cookies easy and fun for kids of all ages. Whether it’s a favorite sugar cookie recipe or a cookie mix, Mrs. Anderson’s Cookie Cutters are fun and easy to use. Simply mix cookie dough and chill for at least 1 hour. Once chilled, roll out dough evenly on a cool, lightly floured surface and dust the dough lightly with a bit more flour. Hold cutter by the handle and press the blade firmly into the dough to cut the edges. Dip the cutters in flour between each cut to keep them from sticking. Bake cookies according to recipe. A great addition to baking tools for cutting decorative pie crust, mini cakes, gingerbread pieces, and more. These metal cookie cutters double nicely for a pastry cutter, biscuit cutter, fondant cutters, and are great for baking and cooking with kids or doing arts and crafts. Made from 18/8 stainless steel, Mrs. Anderson’s Graduated Round Cookie Cutters are easy to use and clean. When are we going to standardize the spelling the word for our favorite pastry? I can never decide whether it's '"donut" or "doughnut."

Anyway, this isn't as sturdy as I like, as there is some flex in the sheet metal, so I sometimes have to reshape it to get perfectly round donuts/doughnuts, but if you're not unhealthily obsessed with perfection like I am, you should be fine with this product. It works just fine and I'm not going to take off a star because of my OCDs. Besides, for the price, you can't beat this one. And you can buy more without having to get a second mortgage. Awesome!

Delivery was quick and they arrived undamaged, yaay! These are good cutters. Advertised as Fondant Cutters but of course because of their shape I am using them as biscuit cutters. They're no more flimsy than any other biscuit cutter on the market BECAUSE that's how biscuit cutters are designed. They are made thin so they have a sharp edge to cut through your biscuit dough. I trust Mrs. Anderson to deliver a decent cutter and they did. Remember, don't twist the cutter in the dough, just push straight down and lift straight up so you don't mess up the airy-ness (or flaky layers) of the dough :)

I so hoped this cutter would be what I've been looking for. It's not very sturdy (very thin/light-weight metal) and bends out of shape very easily, so store it carefully. It's constructed with only 2 very tiny pin-welds holding the inner ring to the handle and outer ring. It did a pretty good job of cutting my first batch of donuts until, half way through, one of the flimsy pin-welds popped apart. I'm thinking of drilling 2 small holes and installing some kind of screws to reinforce the welds.

Update: Upon second use, the second pin weld also gave way. I now have the hole cutter attached to the larger piece with electrical tape. What is wrong with companies that make a product that breaks after 2 uses????? I have removed another star.

My big question is why do companies especially companies that make items you use with food stick all that hard to remove advertising all over it. Such a pain to remove all the glue.

As a donut cutter it does the job! It's much more effective than trying to rig up a bowl and such for donuts. My husband also decided to use it as a stamp cut out for garden weed fabric. He heated it up with a torch and stamped out holes in the fabric. It wasn't as useful to him as it was to me making donuts. It's now back in the kitchen after being thoroughly sanitized. Although it's blackened metal now and slightly warped in shape, it does the job for donuts once again.
