Product description
Mrs. Anderson's Baking ebelskiver turning tools are designed to gently turn the beloved Danish pancakes for which they are named. Traditional ebelskivers, also called "appleskives" Meaning apple slices, are cooked in a specially designed ebelskiver pan that features half-sphere indentations which form their distinctive spherical shape. Mrs. Anderson's ebelskiver turning tools are uniquely designed to reach into these indentations and gently turn the delicate pancakes over while keeping them, and their delicious filling, intact. Measuring inches long, they help keep hands away from the hot pan and are safer than using toothpicks or flatware to turn the dough. Plus, they won't scratch non-stick cookware. Ebelskivers are most common before Christmas and served with glogg, a Scandinavian mulled wine. These light and fluffy pancakes can be filled with bits of Apple or other fruit, cheese, or chocolate, sprinkled with powdered sugar, and dipped in jam. Mrs. Anderson's ebelskiver turning tools double nicely for many other kitchen tools, from scoring pastry, to fluting a pie crust, checking cake for doneness, rippling icing, flipping veggies, reaching the bottom of a jar, and more. Made from eastern European Beechwood. Won't scratch non-stick surfaces. Hand wash in warm, soapy water. Set of 2. Brought to you by HIC Harold Import Co.

WYSIWYG -- and who knew that one really needed an ebelskiver turning tool. Oh, yes, you could use a chop stick for this purpose, but for 7 bucks, you can have a purpose-built tool that will be the envy of all of your friends and neighbors. Its pointed-end design allows the tool to sneak into the crevice next to the ebelskiver muffins, allowing a trauma-free flip. And these are aged beechwood, not Beechwood Aged.
Useful for waffles and my takoyaki pan. I mainly use it for waffles. Keeps my fingers from burning! Good substitute for tongs. I also really appreciate that it doesn't take a bunch of space in my drawer.
These seethe perfect Turner for making poffertjes. The professionals use a toothpick or a small skewer. But I haven't had thousands of hours of practice. This turner makes the job of flipping poffertjes much easier for us mere mortals.
This tool is wonderful (even for uses other than ebelskivers). I'm happy with the form and function of these as well as the quality of the material used. I recommend these for you and all your friends who have ebelskiver skillets (will aid beginners in turning the dough in the circles) and also for those uses in the kitchen other than ebelskivers. I'm happy I purchased them.
Bought this not expecting much more than cute; but very good and easy to use, better than chopsticks and/or knives that I've used before. Wise purchase!
Ordered these when I order the pan. Work well, clean up nicely. Looks better than using an icky knitting needle when making them for guest. The curves and points serve a purpose in turning them.
What these are is just what a sharpened chop stick will accomplish. Not worth what I thoughtthey were. Save yourself and just use a pair of chop sticks sanded down a bit. It is what it is🙁
I could not make ebelskivers without this tool. I don't make them frequently enough to become adept at turning them over with a toothpick or chopstick. This tool makes it very simple.
