Charlaine F. Price is an Author, Licensed Professional Counselor, Retired Teacher/Administrator, Speaker and Cancer Survivor. She is married and has adult children. She was born and raised in Tennessee. She attended schools in Chattanooga and graduated from the historical Howard High. Charlaine attended Tennessee State University, University of TN at Chattanooga, the University of TN at Knoxville and the Psychological Studies Institute at Richmont University. She worked for the Hamilton County Schools and retired as an Administrator after 33 years of service in 2002. She is the recipient of several awards for Excellence in Education: Teacher, Counselor and Administrator of-the-year. She was inducted into the Afro-American Awards Hall of Fame, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and a Leadership Trainer for Cancer Care Ministries.
