Overall, these are great for what I want them for. I will be using these primarily to watch TV without disturbing anyone else. I've tried numerous headphones and so far these have been the best for this.
A quick explanation of the challenges of using Bluetooth headphones to watch TV. The biggest challenge is that the audio and video are usually out of sync. There is usually a delay, sometimes as long as a half second, between when you see the video and when you hear the sound. There is a codec developed by Qualcomm called AptX LL (low latency) that reduces the delay to the point where it's not noticeable. Unfortunately, not many headphone manufacturers use it. In addition, you also need an APTX LL enabled transmitter.
Long story short, in order to use bluetooth headphones to watch TV without any audio delay, you need to get the right equipment. You can't just go grab a random set of headphones and a bluetooth enabled TV and hope it works. It usually won't.
I currently use an Avantree Audikast Plus bluetooth transmitter that is connected to my TV. The sound goes from my TV to the Audikast using either a 3.5mm audio cable or an optical cable, then my headphones connect to the Audikast. The Audikast uses AptX LL so with headphones that also support aptX LL, you should not have any delay (in theory.... more info below).
I've been using a set of inexpensive Avantree headphones for this but I wanted something with better sound quality and ANC. These work perfectly.
Now the review.
What I like:
First and foremost, AptX LL. It's a must-have for me. Unfortunately, I recently found out that not all headphones implement AptX LL the same way. Before getting these, I tried a set of Sennheiser 450BT which also have AptX LL but they simply did not work. I got no audio when they connected to the Audikast using aptX LL. The MU6s work perfectly.
Comfort. They are not quite as comfortable as a set of Bose QC35ii which we also have (the Bose don't support aptX LL so are useless for TV), but they are still very comfortable. These are also a little heavier than the Bose.
ANC. Excellent. Actually a little better than the Bose QC35ii. I think Sony currently has the best ANC on the market and the ANC on the Mu6 is almost as good.
Sound. The sound is very well balanced and has excellent separation. I generally test the stereo separation on headphones by listening to binaural audio recordings and several different headphone test videos on Youtube. These have excellent sound and separation. They work great for music and reproduce everything in excellent detail.
What I don't like:
The app. Horrible. As another reviewer also noted, when I opened the app the first time it gives me a message in Chinese. I have no idea what I just clicked on or what terms and conditions I might have just accepted. Once I got past that and opened the app, most of the options shown in the screenshots do not actually exist. There is no EQ, no option to check or update firmware, none of that. Just a setting for the level of noise cancellation and two more settings I saw no need to change. Basically, just ignore the app. It's disappointingly useless.
The 2.5mm jack for the cable is unusually tight. When I first plugged the cable into it I thought it was broken because I was only hearing one channel. I messed with it for a few minutes and eventually figured out that you have to press really hard to get the cable to finally snap all the way into place. And once it snaps in, you have to pull very hard to take it back out. I don't know if this is normal or if this is going to become a problem over time. I expect to connect and disconnect the cable at least a couple of times a day because in addition to using the headphones to watch TV, I also connect them to my laptop to watch videos there also. Hopefully it doesn't become a problem.
::update to the headphone jack thing:: If you look on the company's indiegogo site, a lot of people commented that the headphone jack is too loose. That's what I initially thought too because I inserted the cable like I would any other cable but it stayed loose and like I mentioned, I only got one channel of audio - no stereo separation. But after messing with it for a while I realized the problem is the exact opposite - it's too tight and you have to REALLY push the cable into the jack with a lot of force, then it will finally click into place.
The functionality and user interface. Overall it's not bad and I really don't have any complaints but I am having a very hard time clearing the pairings. I followed the instructions in the user manual that came with the headphones, which seem to be the same instructions in the Questions section here but I was only able to get it to work one time out of about 10 tries. They could also add more voice guidance so you know what it's doing, especially when it comes to pairing and clearing all pairing settings, etc...
Another minor issue is the company's online support page. There is very little info (pretty much zero info, actually) and the only user manual I was able to find there doesn't seem to be for this model. The company looks like they crowdfunded through indiegogo. A lot of complaints on their indiegogo page about the company not being very responsive. Their general webpage is also lacking any real info about the company. Long term support and warranty is questionable at this point, in my opinion. Company has no track record.
TL;DR -
Connectivity to aptX LL enabled transmitter = 5
Sound quality = 4.5
Comfort = 4
Build quality = 3.5
ANC = 4.5
App = 1
User interface = 2.5
Online support page = 1
Overall, these are the best Bluetooth headphones I've found so far for watching TV without the audio and video being out of sync, but you do need the correct BT transmitter that supports aptX LL. They also sound great for music and are very comfortable. The ANC is also among the best I've tried, equal to or better than the Bose QC35ii.
So, if you're considering making a return for some minor reason, I recommend trying a replacement instead of a refund.

Bluetooth is perfectly fine for listening to Audiobooks and making phone calls. But, I’ve always wished for the wires when listening to music over Bluetooth.
These headphones have made me rethink that. Right out of the box, they sound good and are nicely tuned across the board. There’s perhaps a bit more bass than “perfect” balance requires, but I was impressed and somewhat awed by how well I could hear every intricacy of every layer of sound. Delicate percussion and subtle bass tones did not become too weighty by the boost and I didn’t itch to make EQ adjustments, which is good, because there are none on-device or in-app.
I picked these up at an Amazon Locker in the grocery store. The headphones came 70% charged, and I sat in the parking lot squee-ing and oh wow-ing as they outperformed my expectations on every musical challenge I threw at them. All while noise cancelling completely masked the nearby road traffic.
The only problem I have with these is that they are much too loose. They slip and slide, tripping the auto-pause feature whenever I move too much. I can’t dance, walk or even bob my head a little. I could turn off the auto-pause feature in the app, but they're still too loose. They fell off my head when I got up from my recliner chair. I had to tie a bandana around my forehead to keep them in place while I did housework (ANC dealt well with the vacuum noise).
I wrapped a scarf around the headband to take up more space (see pic). That helps some (and looks OK), but they won't fit in the case like that. I'm almost desperate to make this work, so I'm going to keep trying.
I don’t think I have a particularly small head. My Plantronics BackBeat 500 (audiobook listener, remember?) is slightly too tight,
If I have to return these. I will be very sad.
Edit: I returned them. I've tried half a dozen other 4+ star headphones in the under $250 price range and I've found nothing that
comes close to the Space 2's combination of sound quality, features and excellent noise cancelling. If you can keep them on your head, you can't go wrong with these headphones.
