From the Author
I hope you enjoy reading "Mud Marbles." My love of the South was my inspiration for writing the book. My favorite character in this book is Mincy. She has great advice for everyone in the family, and then there's Cousin Delta. Who wouldn't love Cousin Delta? I hope you are lucky enough to have a Mincy and a Cousin Delta in your life. If not, I will share with you the Chandler-Drake and Montgomery family members.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the dynamics of these families. This book only gave a hint of the social pangs of the era, just enough to confirm that all things and people are not sea glass because sometimes you may have mud marbles, but nonetheless these families show that love, respect, acceptance, great booze, tears, and laughter are the keys to holding these two southern families together.
I encourage anyone that loves family and has a unique family of their own to read Tolar Miles's first southern charm, "Mud Marbles."
Oh yes, if you wonder what's a mud marble, what's your wait? Do like I did and get it and read it.
