Works great for mixing sourdough
I bought this specifically for mixing up sourdough. So far I've used the whisk (to feed the starter, mixing flour and water) and the dough hooks. The hooks don't look up to the task, but they really are! This little blender/mixer is much more powerful than I anticipated and kind of got away from me at first. This is such a time and wrist saver for me! I mixed up ten individual batches of dough (one loaf each). It was up to the task, but did get hot. That didn't seem to affect performance at all. The one negative for me is that I like to hold the button with my thumb, and since it recesses when pushed my thumb got a bit sore. (see picture). I just rotated it a bit and used my finger, so it wasn't much of a problem. It's early days, but so far I would really recommend this for mixing small batches of dough!

We have purchased many handheld blender/mixers over the years, far too many because they all let us down due to poor performance or poor design that caused them to stop running because they could not be fully cleaned so they would stop spinning.

This unit is different, its much better designed so the blender, whisk and frother are separate units that you snap in place far away from the motor so the motor bearing is always clean and maintains speed, we are so happy about that!

For practical use this unit is amazing! Its far more powerful than we expected so it makes us happy, its easy to use, int features variable speed and a turbo button (yes turbo really works), so it mixes/blends very well.

The attachment are extreme easy to swap out, they twist on and off effortlessly.

Cleanup is very easy since attachments are easily removed for washing.

Highly recommended and at this price its unbeatable.

My old stick blender wore out a while ago, so I shopped around on Amazon to find a replacement. I came across an article that highly recommended this product, and then I saw it was top-rated on Amazon, so when I saw a price drop, I went for it.

Fantastic purchase. It works better than I thought - it is wonderfully powerful. I loaded up smoothie materials - and promptly had stuff spinning out of my oversized cup. Once I adjusted to the power, it was quick and easy to use. Occasionally I had to take my finer off the button because the suction the blades created sucked the bottom of the glass up so not much blending was getting done. But about two inches from the bottom of the cup, and everything gets liquified just fine - and very quickly.

The device itself, chrome and black with dark blue lights, looks like it cost well more than twice what I paid. And it comes apart easily for washing. It is also easy to rinse clean since it does not have nooks and crannies like my last stick blender, so I don't have to go digging in to clean it out.

I might not have actually needed to get this stick blender, but I have no regrets or remorse over picking it up. It has been a great addition to my kitchen just for making smoothies. But I am also looking forward to making cauliflower soup again as well as other recipes.

If you want a stick blender, this is a high quality and effective device. Really glad I bought it.

I've used this blender pretty heavily for the last 8 months, and really wish I had bought it sooner. Its convenient and powerful for its size. My only problem is that because I used it so heavily, I ended up twisting the whisk attachment apart after 8 months, and I can't seem to find any way to replace that attachment without ordering an entirely new blender. That seems like it would be a terrible waste just to replace a single part.

So far I’ve frothed milk for my coffee, and blended boiled veggies for a smooth veggie soup. I was able to blend up the soup straight off the stove. Put aside the lawsuit about not being from Germany.

I bought a different hand mixer/blender. The blade broke. I think it was on ice. It was some time ago.

Amazon knows I buy lots of powder drinks. I buy chocolate, cocoa mixes, too. Mixing the drinks are not hard, but sloshing one container to the other can get messy as stirring MUST be vertical and horizontal for a balance taste.

This one I am reviewing looked nice, solid and had whisk, milk frother and the chopping steel main attachment. The slower of two settings has a progressive radial turn thing to go from slow to max lower-level speed. The other speed is a splasher if you are not careful.

Yeah, you cannot take your thing to be mixed to the maximum volume, or you get splashed.

You can take off the attachments to wash. It is better even if you lick the attachment to not have your finger near a live switch.

I like to add chocolate powder to my milk and use the solid steel attachment, for you will not have unmixed powder on top in the end. The milk gets nice and FLUFFY good. It is harder to clean, so use a rag and soap.

You find it does NOT engage with the liquid well. I turn and run it, or I lift it up and down. it it not broke, just some physics to understand.

Lawsuit of not, you need to respect the power, or you will have splash on the counter top.

I cannot speak to the other attachments much. The milk frother helps create a Vortex Tornado to break down when I add too much chocolate powder that clumps to the machine.

I get frustrated with too much liquid and not enough container moments. I tweet the button, it splashes counter with liquid and powder.

Just it is a lovely-lovely toy for the self-aware cook or Chef.
