To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Though the foam arrived in a nice size box and the foam was inside a plastic sleeve (which had a label indicating new) an edge of the foam was missing. The box had no dents and there were no "pieces" of the foam in the plastic sleeve or box. So I can only figure that the foam was already missing the piece before it was inserted in the plastic sleeve. The sleeve is opaque. Though there is more then enough anti-static foam for my needs, I am not going to waste my time sending it back. So much for "quality control."

I used a 1/4" x 1/4" piece of this foam to repair the antenna in a Nintendo Switch Controller. It seems to have done the trick.

It's conductive, so that's good, but it's much worse quality than conductive foam I've gotten when ordering ICs from an electronics supplier. The main difference is that this foam disintegrates really easily (leaving small bits of foam everywhere) and doesn't really spring back when compressed. I wouldn't recommend this.

Like other reviewers noted, this just arrived with a small chunk missing from the edge. This wouldn't be a problem except that I bought this to use to display some components on the wall of the lab, so the missing 1/4" x 1/4" or so chunk means that I will have to carefully cut this down to less than 12" x 12". This wouldn't be much of an annoyance except that I was going to use spray contact cement to fasten it to a 12" x 12" piece of cork, so now I have to figure out how to carefully trim the cork also without it crumbling.
It is a good 1/4" thick, just over 6mm as per the description, so that's good. As expected, it doesn't seem quite dense enough to hold the pins of a DIP-header type microprocessor board (like a Teensy or Arduino Nano) without it falling out if I mount the foam vertically (like for a wall display). Thus the plan to back it with a cork tile.
It would be fine to purchase this to cut pieces to protect a component from static; it's just like components typically have when purchased, so I'll give it three stars and will update it if the Seller responds to this post in a considerate way.
There is also a bit of a rippled portion across a corner where the foam wasn't packaged very well and had a double fold, but this may relax back flat after some time. As mentioned, I just received this in the mail (about 15 minutes ago).
I wonder if these are factory seconds that the seller acquired due to small defects like these.

Worked as needed. Compared to other conductive foam, I didn't see a lot of metal in it which initially worried me. It has worked flawlessly though. I used it to fix my own Joy-Con controller for the Nintendo Switch. Added a small piece next to the Bluetooth radio and my controller now works perfectly.

Proper conductive foam for IC Storage etc. I purchased it for storing various ESD sensitive components. The only odd thing was the way it was packed, it had been cut from a larger piece that was bagged and a had a piece of scotch tape across the cut open side and 3 small hunks ripped out. Beyond that the product was what I was looking for, it is properly conductive from what I tested with my ohm meter.

Bought this to personally fix my Nintendo Switch Left Joy-con defect. Pretty big sheet for a very small piece of foam that I needed. Did the job!
