I have the LED version of this. It works well. I have not done a calibration check, but based on the readings I am getting, it's certainly within 5% and probably closer to the rated 1% I am using on a 120V circuit but will be moving it to a 240V circuit sometime in the future. The one thing, which others have mentioned, is that the leads on the current sensor are not long enough to allow mounting anywhere other than directly beside an outlet and even that is tight. True, these can easily be extended with wire, solder and heat shrink tubing, but it would nice to not have to do that.

Works great so far. I have not put it into service yet, but have hooked it up in a test mode and the display mode seems to work just fine. I have not been able to test the TTL serial output, but I will. I have not been able to get the adapter I purchased to convert from TTL to USB working so far. I have not checked accuracy yet, but I am not too worried about exact precision in the application I am planning on using this for. 2-5% accuracy will be fine. One note, but not a complaint, this unit is a little larger than the black face/blue background units without the TTL output. Not an issue, I just did not look closely at the specs. I will update this review if my opinion changes as more testing is done, and the unit is put into service.

Bought the LED version to measure the energy consumption of a new hybrid water heater. It was easy to install in a 30 Amp 2-Pole circuit using the diagram on the back of the unit. Just passed one of the hot leads through the CT loop and connected the voltage meter leads to the two hot leads.
