Still not dummy proof multiple sclerosis for dummies
on November 16, 2008
Most of the "For Dummies" books are very basic and easy to follow -- this must be the exception!! Too much compacted facts within the information. Take it apart - more tiny step by step instead of large medical jargon. I understand this is not a medical advice book & they must try not to give any hope or misconceptions of any kind BUT it needs to be broken down into smaller bits. Tell the writers to please "Take small bites". Don't throw a sentence out there without disecting it for us non-medical people. As a newly diagonsed MS person I found the book to be a total waste of my time. There are other books out there that explain multiple sclerosis much simplier than this book.
