Breaks Down Easily M&Y wipes are made of viscose - a cellulosic fibre that is the most abundant and renewable biopolymer on Earth. We believe it is vital to look after today’s planet for tomorrow’s generation, and we want to help parents play their part.	99.4% Water Our wipes contain 99.4% water for ultimate kindness to babies’ skin. They are hypoallergenic & dermatologically tested, ensuring they are suitable for even the youngest babies, and for those with sensitive and eczema prone skin.	Recycling Your Wrap We are doing our bit to prevent plastic going to landfill by moving our Wipes packaging into a recyclable wrap. Check with local stores, curbside collection services and local recycling centers.

Why’s that Better?

Traditionally wet wipes contain plastic fibers, which break down and congeal to form ‘fat-bergs’ - large nonbiodegradable obstacles in the environment. On top of that, the average parent uses 10-20 wipes a day. Our wipes contain zero plastic. They are from a sustainable naturally derived viscose - a cellulosic fiber that’s the more abundant and renewable biopolymer on Earth. Because they’re made using plant fibers, the wipes break down 15 days in landfill conditions*, after throwing away. For hygiene it’s still best to dispose of wipes used for diaper changes in the normal garbage bin. To further protect our environment and waterways, please never flush our wipes - we would never recommend disposing of wipes this way.

*Biodegradation testing in line with ASTM D5511 showed 86.6% biodegradation after 15 days of testing, compared to the positive reference (cellulose), this translates to 100.7% relative biodegradation. Wipes will Home compost according to European Standards EN13432.

Its vegan and bio degradable but some ingredients get a high-toxicity rating from EWG for allergy and immunotoxicity (myristamodopropyl PG-dimonium chloride phosphate)
Sorry not paying for water and these. Brands need to be more responsible!

I use these wipes for myself when it’s that time of the month or after a bathroom use. I like that this product does not throw off my PH balance. No fragrance. I like that it clearly outlines the ingredients used and why they were used. The wipe becomes very thin and tears when extremely stretched out.
The only reason why I knocked off a star (4 out of 5) is because the wipes are not overlapped properly. For example, you take out one wipe and literally 3 other wipes come out. If I was a mom and in a hurry to clean my baby’s bum I would be super annoyed with seeing 3 other wipes come out when I only needed one. Thankfully it’s just me so I do not mind it that much but can be improved. Overall, I do recommend this product.

We use these on our small person, and it is effective and doesn't rip. We throw it in the trash, and not in the composter because I'm not sure if you can backyard compost them. Not sure if they're better for the environment or not, as the packaging is necessarily plastic. I guess if we really wanted to be 100% waste-free, we would re-use cloths, but some conveniences are hard to give up. So we use these and hope they will break down faster in the landfill than other wipes.

I agree with others that they are a bit hard to take out of the packet. I solved that, as did another reviewer, by removing what I wanted before beginning the cleaning process. I also held the lower sheets down with my thumb as I pulled out the one I wanted, stuffed the part the puffed out back in and replaced the sticky flap.

Using for my dogs feet after walks in our wet Pacific NW weather. Size is perfect for my use, about 8" x 5" and thick enough to not tear, but thin enough for me to feel my way around to get between the claws on a wiggly pup. Bought for the following reasons: compostable, non scented, no harmful ingredients that he would like off his paws.

Perfect little wipes for sensitive bums while serving an ecoconscious household. Wipes are smaller than some average brands, but I prefer it because, simply put, it's not wasteful. I usually wipe and fold about 4 times before tossing for small messies. They are strong and hold up well. Again, better than average brands that seem to shred in sticky situations. Scent wise... there's no scent at all! Been using them for over a year. Very happy.

I wanted to like these wipes as they fit my criteria for biodegradable, no hard plastic opening / lid and not made with harsh chemicals. However, I had to give up on my first box. The wipes are fine but they are pleated together in a way that yields clumps of wipes rather than one at a time. Then getting a handle on the next clump, especially through a wipe warmer, was fiddly - especially one handed at 3am with a wriggling baby.
