What an awesome set and a great value!
After reading a bunch of reviews of this set, I wanted to see for myself how this ultimate (?!) trilogy stacks up. In the end, it's a total winner and I'm so glad I got it. First things first: the Mummy movies are, to me, a throwback to an era when entertainment existed for its own sake. Spectacle, action, adventure and romance - they're all there! They do a magnificent job setting the scenes and telling the stories. The characters are compelling, expertly cast and acted, and relatable. I just loved the total suspension of disbelief! In case there were any question, the sound and picture are phenomenal and incredibly immersive. It was a total "movie-going" experience for me and I imagine you'd feel the same. Now to the packaging, which I adore! Each disc has its own generous slot and it should should not be subject to scratching. When you turn the set upside down, the discs fall out for about a half an inch. What keeps them there is a thin layer of foam that only touches the edges. All you need to do is gently pull out the desired disc. If fingerprints are a concern, put a small piece of Scotch tape on the front of the disc for traction and pull it out. It's a really great system that protects the discs and saves space - the six-disc set is only 11/16" (18mm) wide. Did I mention that the set locks magnetically? It does. As a bonus (for me?), the case is made of paper and easily shows signs of wear, just like pulp novels I've read again and again. The set I purchased in February 2019 came with Ultraviolet codes for all three movies. Ultraviolet is on its way out, but the codes worked on Movies Anywhere and iTunes, which will be around for a while still. I hope you love The Mummy like I do!

    I will give the quality of the films on 4K excellent. Whoever came up with the box set idea sucks. I took me over 3 mins to get the first disc out. The box will not release them without a fight. Universal why didn't you use the same box style as Jurassic Park. I almost broke the second film trying to remove it from the box. You should have offered a replacement box for all the bad ones you released. I see reading other reviews many others went through the same as me. 5 Stars for films. O Stars for the box set holding all the films.

Picture, sound and features playback is superb and even better than before, especially that all three Mummy movies have now been upgraded to 4K Ultra HD/HDR accompanied by the soundtrack, dialogue and movie score in stunning Dolby Atmos and comes with loads of extras on the standard Blu-Ray discs, which also includes all three Mumy movies. The High Dynamic Range brings the whole movie watching experience to life and gives all three movies a fresh feel to the movie experience and the persons watching these films. It was definetley worth the purchase from amazon.com.

    Scratches galore on a blu ray surface is hard to do but these do it. :( Might end up (like Universal of old with their poorly mastered Knight Rider Seasons 1-4 that I gave up after replaying the DVD-18's over and over each time I had to get another copy from Universal. ) Some claim these are Neo Paks , but no , just cheap copies. I have a real one from Green Mile and those are very well designed and have yet to scratch the disc and yes magnetic but a simple lip along the bottom holds them in place. Nearly all plastic. Not cardboard. My strongest suggestion is what I did with some dvd cardboard cases is find a square felt or a plastic felt case if it it doesn't quite fit, cut to side and dump the plastic bit. If the ones I ordered do fit I don't care if they stick out I can just slide those out and then take the 4K's which are getting scratched and the rebadged Blu Rays (They are all the 2008 releases , with the exception I have the HDDVD copies dirt cheap for 1 and 2.. ) I figured the price point alone was good enough for a free copy of the horrid 3rd movie where Rachel Weisz was smart enough to not do that movie and the Director was stupid enough to call her a bad actress. Er no. You're a bad director. Really good actresses will spot a bad movie a mile away. Fraiser can be good but he's not experienced. He was better in this sort of movies though. So instead of Shia.. Harrison Ford shoulda been courting Fraiser instead of Shia... :P., like the kid was way too young in indiana jones 4 vs the Eve Rick kid er did the Soap Opera grow up stuff. SMH

    One of my family's guilty pleasures in Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz in these films. Now we get to see them in 4k Ultra HD awesomeness? What's not to like. It doesn't help the acting any so please don't buy it thinking that it'll help but the resolution is perfect. Sorta. I mean they had to up convert old 1080p footage so... Okay seriously your hopes weren't super high going into this because of the content, just enjoy the trip down memory lane.

    Excellent in 4k - enjoyed revisiting this series, especially the second and third movies - I'm not a big fan of the bugs. I miss Rachel Weisz in the Emperor movie and I think the actor who played grown-up Alex does not seem convincing - not enough insight and intelligence - even the little boy Alex in the second one was much better. Still the combination of Jet LI and Michelle Yeoh and their sword battle makes that one a must-own. The 4k adds to the epic feel and so the upgrade is worth it.

Legenda somente em inglês ( ainda bem que entendo inglês ) e o box é muito delicado, os discos ficam guardados nas partes digipack do box e se puxa-los com força, arranharão facilmente. Fora que o box veio bem maltratado( parece até que a foi usado por outra pessoa ), até usei durex pra colar o box, e tive que fazer um acordo com a Amazon pra ficar com ele, já q o primeiro que comprei um dos discos estava com defeito e o segundo veio com o box ferrado, então deram desconto pelo defeito no box. Não tiveram um pingo de empatia para comigo na hora de escolher o produto pra enviar e fora a transportadora q deve ter ferrado mais ainda a mercadoria. Maaas...
