I've been using the Munchkin Arm & Hammer Diaper Bag Refill Bags since my little girl was born. The diaper pail itself is shorter than the Diaper Genie, but it has a compartment at the top that holds Baking Soda that you can add, which is really helpful to absorb nasty odors of the diaper pail.

The Bags are incredible durable and are made to snap closed when you are taking it out. A couple things to consider before buying it: 1) You have to fold and "snap" the bag together, then pull it through the open compartment door on the side. It can be difficult, even annoying. But once you get past the squeezing it through the door that opens on the side, it's simple to carry to the trash. It never breaks. 2) It doesn't hold as many diapers as it should be able to. It's because of the weight of the diapers. It turns as you close the lid, sealing in odor. If it's weighed down by too many diapers, it won't rotate or close. Problem is, the diaper bag can hold at least 4-5 more diapers, depending on the size you use. So, I have a small wooden block that elevates the bag inside the pail, enabling me to add more diapers and not waste bags. Any way to save money right? Truly, though, the pail itself doesn't hold as many diapers as it could unless you improvise. If this doesn't concern you, then it's really just a great product. I just like to save as much money as possible and not waste the room that could be used to hold even more diapers.

Aside from those minor issues.....

I share a room with my now 15 month old and I can tell you that after changing some really poopy messes, this thing has never one time stunk me outta the room. I recommend it to anyone. !!!

The diaper pail itself works just fine, however that bags are basically useless.

I have had 2 out of the 4 bags I have used so far split down the seam from top to bottom, thus spilling dirty diapers into the pail. If there's one thing you want to be robust, it is the bag containing soiled diapers!! These bags seem to be split when coming out of the package or shortly thereafter, not when the pail is actually full.

We will probably just end up using a trash can for dirty diapers from this point on to save ourselves the trouble of having to take them out of the base of the pail and put them in to the trash later on...

While I am not a dad, my family has essentially set up a second home for my niece. She has two of everything. One at my sister's house picked out by mom and dad, and one at my house picked out by uncle and grandma. I did a lot of research before deciding on a system for diapers. I COULD just throw them away, but for the sake of cleanliness, I decided to pick up the Munchkin diaper system. It was cheaper than it's major competitor and seemed easier to use. I like these bags because they fit lots of dirty diapers and when it's done, you snap the top closed and everything stays securely in the bag. Put it out with the rest of your trash and call it a day. Now the bags themselves don't have baking soda I believe, but the pail sprinkles some over everything every time the pail is closed. I searched for these backs at several locations to see where I could get the best price and as usual Amazon did not disappoint.

Expensive, but these bags hold poopy diapers like a champ. Poop goes in the diaper, diaper goes in the bag, bag goes in the trash can. I have yet to see one break (not that I have tried). I considered maybe dancing a polka while handling two of them, or practicing knife juggling, or opening an aircraft door in flight to give it a test... but so far it has been sufficient to liberate the bag from its receptacle and carry it somewhat cautiously across my house to the exterior door. They are even conveniently translucent so you can estimate the number of diapers... which naturally leads to a great game if you host a baby shower: guess the diapers in the pail.

I use the Munchkin Arm & Hammer system for my 89 year old wife who has a continence problem (suffers from AD) while sleeping at night. This system is perfect and very easy to use. I normally order a three pack of the 30 count but screwed up on the last order. She is now 91.

We love this as our diaper pail. We have moved it to our less used changing location though, as the cost to replace is greater than the other diaper pail, that has a never ending bag. This was really handy with the snap lid, and how it twists itself shut every time.

These bags work! I pack them full of smelly diapers (in my pail) and my nursery and bedroom (I have two pails) don't stink. I just wish each bag fit more diapers. And w/ the pail, I find that space in the bags is wasted. I often set a bag outside of my pail and fill it w/ a few more diapers before disposing of it.
