This product is a great idea, but the follow-through is a little off. While it does help with medicine my son hates to take, it makes it hard to administer the full dosage. The last bit gets stuck in the nipple, and I have to pull it out of his mouth a little and hold it. Kind of annoying!

It's not a bad product, but I think I'll try one of the ones with the push lever at the end, maybe that will help get all the medicine out!

I have blown through 4 of these items in the first 3 months of my sons life. The product is beyond amazing when it works, but the Medicator won't work when the product is not properly closed and the tabs that hold the medicine cup to the pacifier up are very fragile. We have snapped the tabs off all 4 of the units we have had.

It is still better than all the similar products on the market and would be 5* if they could reinforce the tabs that hold the cup to the pacifier top.

Our second child didn't like the medicine dropper and usually spit the medicine out. With this she just sucks it right down without any problems. Our only complaint is that the collar has to screw on just right or it leaks. Check it before you try giving it to your child. Cleaning the counter is easier than a crying sticky infant.

I love the idea of this item but it LEAKS 99% of the time! It is poorly design and doesn't even worth a penny! You're better off putting the medication in a small bottle than using this because you will end up with a sticky, pissed off baby!

I cannot begin to tell you just how much I hate this item. It is near impossible to thread the top to the receptacle so that it seals and does not leak. I have tried on more than one occasion and every time, I was unable to thread it correctly so that it would not lear.

The last straw was last night - my child was crying uncharacteristically loudly - likely a mild upset tummy reaction to her innoculations. So I loaded up the receptacle with gripe water and as meticlously and precisely as possible, threaded the top and nipple to the receptacle. I was concentrating, like I was trying to difuse a nitro glycerin bomb. It looked perfectly level and attached. Huzzah! Finally I had closed it properly!! Of course, when I gave it to my baby, I saw that some had dribbled out. I picked her up and it had ALL leaked out - and her head and back were laying in a puddle of gripe water. At the time, I was struggling through a red rage of my own tears so I couldn't figure out which was the the best part of my experience with this item: that I couldn't dose her again, as I don't know how much she got and how much leaked out; or that I had literally just bathed her and put her into clean clothes.

Not wanting my daughter to sense my Hulkesque rage, I calmly wiped her down, changed her, put her in her crib and called my wife in. I then took Munchkin the Medicator down into my basement. I snipped the nipple off and stuffed a left over M80 into it. I took it out into the woods, wedged it into the soft ground and pulled out my iPhone. I then cranked Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings (aka the theme song from Platoon), lit the fuse and scurried behind a tree. The explosion was the most glorious symphony of sound I have ever heard. Finally, I was freed from its uselessness.

Nipple doesnt close well with bottle and most of the time medicine spills on my baby's clothes. Also its very fragile and broke after a month's use.

My son takes reflux medicine 3 times a day and I couldn't get it to all stay in his mouth with a syringe so I bought one of these and one of the safety first versions. This one may be fine if your baby is only given medicine vocationally. Within a week the measurements had washed off so we now have to use a syringe to measure and then put it in this small bottle. The screws on fine if you are paying attention, but when you have a screaming baby and are doing things quickly and with a child in your arms it doesn't always screw on the best and I have turned it sideways only to have half the medicine spill out. I would go with the safety first ones. They are cheaper, the lids snap on, and the measurements are molded with the little cup so you never have to worry about them rubbing off.

I bought this because gripe water always comes with a syringe for administering to baby. The problem with that is it comes out too much, too quick and my newborn was taking in alot of air with it and choking. After the last time of her choking badly (and me in tears) i found this. I pour the gripe water in and she takes it like a mini bottle, she controls the speed it comes out so she has time to swallow and takes in less air too. Happy mommy and happy baby.
