Pros: It works, it's simple (just asdd water and you can use the bottles you are going to sterilize to measure the water), it holds a lot, it is compatible with different brands of bottles (we have doc brown and avent), it can hold other non feeding items that need sterilization, lid clips eliminate accidentaly opening after use lessening chane for steam burns
Con: no steam vent to release pressure before opening, no indication that proper temperature/time has elapsed for thorough sterilization
Responses to other comments: water comes out everywhere when opening - sure some water comes out some of the time, but if you open it carefully it's a minor to non-issue. Unsure if it's BPA free - of course i wish we knew for sure if it was BPA free, but in the end nothing on this product will go into my baby's mouth so it's a nonissue for us. I'm not chemist, but my understanding is that BPA is a chemical compound that is part of the structure of certain plastics. it's not like BPA can unbind with plastic molecules in this product and magically transfer over and bind with a bottle or nipple. In my opinion, as long as the bottle and nipple is BPA free, we are comfortable.
At the end of the day, i'm happy with this product. if i had the luxury to wait for shipping, I would have strongly considered the microwave sterilizer from The First Years as i've had good experiences with that brand and it has a design to address the cons I listed above.
Included instructions are straight to the point and only require you knowing the wattage range of you microwave to set the appropriate time.
Organizing bottles and nipples is a bit of an art. Obviously there isn't a standard bottle size or shape that the whole industry follows. Instructions provide some pictures to give you an idea how it should go.
The safety features are greatly appreciated when you consider what a face full of hot steam can do. The device can only unlatch from one side (the other is locked in place until after you hinge up the lid) making it easy to open away from you every time.
I am trusting that by following instructions, the materials are sterilized, but I am not a scientist. I have no reason to believe they are unclean, and it is definitely more convenient than boiling everything in water.

Haven't used it yet...but it seems great.
I was expecting a bottle brush as it was advertised with the product...so I am a bit dissapointed about that.
