In my opinion, this is the best version of a Christmas Carol that is out there! This never seems to be available on the regular cable channels to view for free. So every year, we paid to rent it through our cable options. And finally, I just decided to buy the DVD --- a smart decision. The DVD quality is terrific, and this anniversary edition contains BOTH the extended version (with Belle's solo signing scene) and the shorter theatrical version. The cast is a combination of muppets and humans, and flows brilliantly. It is a version of the classic tale that can be enjoyed by all ages, even the very young and very old. Enjoy!
