If you have never been to the bayou area, you should read this book. If you have, you need to read this book. Face it, you need to read it and the rest of the series.
Maggie and her family and friends are great characters who you wouldn't mind hanging out with. One of the things I enjoy in this series is the growth of the characters. In the first book, it's not hard to dislike a couple of them, but in this book, they've grown.
As the head says, it's going to be a long time to wait for the next book. .

Another great book in this endearing series. Murder, an exotic creature, and wedding preparation are the tantalizing scenarios within the pages of this mystery that kept me immersed in all that was happening. A page-turner with all the bells and whistle of a well-written and fast-paced whodunit is not a book to be missed. All the characters had pivotal roles that enhanced my reading engagement. A great read and so looking forward to the wedding.

Once again, over the top obnoxious characters that are not interesting to read about. The plot was too busy and muddled. I figured out part of what was going on in the first few chapters. I was very disappointed in the previous book of this series and only tried this when it was marked down to a few dollars. It will be the last one I try
