Her husband had now recovered from his heart attack and has been assigned to the lollipop division. A division that only had one other member. A cop who only did what he had too and just worked his hours. However his daughter had flown in from England and her relationship with her husband seemed to be on a slippery road to divorce. His company was driven by money and targets with ruthlessness. Amy had also been employed by the head of the company to stage his birthday bash. When the owner is shot dead in front of the company everyone is a suspect. From the trophy wife to the deputy of the company. Throw in another murder, embezzlement and a cold blooded killer for a decent read. But not an exceptional one.
The plot is well developed with several twists which include extra clowns, "witches", a love triangle and at least 5 suspects for the reader to consider. Since I didn't figure it out prior to the ending, I look forward to the next volume 👍🏻👍🏻
I voluntarily received a copy of this book and I'm voluntarily posting a review. My opinion is 100% my own.
