About the Author
After writing a tour guide book to the Caribbean together, Diane's daughter gave her the idea of writing a mystery set on cruise ships in the Caribbean. "Murder Caribbean-Style" and "Murder on a Ghost Ship" are the first two novels of a High Seas Mystery series. Readers meet the main characters of the series and learn about life aboard a ship while solving murders. There is danger and romance mixed in with the action. The third book in the series, "Murder for Glacier Blue" was released in August of 2013. The novel takes the reader on a cruise to Alaska with an art heist, murder, and a wedding planned for Glacier Bay. The most recent novel in this series is "DNA Stalker: Revenge or Justice?" This book follows two of the characters from the first books, Natalia and Jason, in their own adventure on the high seas. They must protect six sets of twins from harm as a Stalker tries to hunt down a man who was part of the Jonestown Massacre forty years ago. It's an intense thriller that is a standalone novel. --This text refers to the paperback edition.

This is a tightly written, well rounded, good characterization, excellent mystery. I'm sorry I missed book one of the series. You can bet I'll be getting that one next. For those readers who are especially drawn to series, this book stood on its own as a story. And there was just enough background from book one to clue you into the main character, without boring you. Highly recommend this book.
This book works quite well as a stand-alone. But I am definitely going back to read the first book in the series. I'm curious about how these characters first got together. And I hope Ms. Rapp has more books in the series out soon. I look forward to seeing her writing and her characters evolve.
I enjoyed this book. I especially loved the paranormal aspect. It added just a bit extra to the story that really piqued my interest.
It's a murder mystery book, with the victim/ghost haunting the ship!
To help the ghost move on, Kayla, Steven, Emily and Natalia have to help solve the murder and bring justice.
decipher what is actually going on. A page turner that keeps you
on the edge of your seat till the very end.
I think the Ghost story / murder was strong enough to stand by itself and didn't need the distraction of the other.
An easy and fun read.
