From the Author
I grip the handlebar and run ahead with the wind.
Murder and mayhem yell the mischievous Gods of the freeway, lusting for death and dismemberment.
I accelerate and move ahead, and from the corner of the eye I see a concerned look on someone's face, someone I know, I think I know; a familiar presence. I have no idea what she's doing in the back seat of the walnut brown Lincoln Continental cruising on the lane to my left.
I still see her sometimes in the shimmering lights reflected in the stars, the shift of the wind at the edge of a puffy cloud, or in a dune of sand at the ebb of the desert, after another tired day, her wavy hairs fanning out like in a photo-shopped glossy magazine cover through the forests and the branches of my thoughts and dreams at night under the stroke of the full moon and the ageless agony of the stars.
It is the strangest of things.
The revenge thriller tells the story of a cornered professional, who escapes and tracks down his brother's assassins, only to irrevocably fall in love with the daughter of his worst enemy.
