With tears running down my eyes. He said everything we felt and thought ever since that day. What has happened to our world since that day. I guess only our generation will remember the pain we were in and have been in ever since. Thank You Bob Dylan for memories of our people and our world and President John F. Kennedy from the past that did seem to bring us to this day. Made you start thinking once again, the thoughts that never go away....
This song has a very haunting melody and words cannot do justice to the lyrical genius that can only be the Bob Dylan that shaped the music world of the past 60 years. It brought me back to November 22 of 63 and the memories of a "Murder Most Foul", as a day etched in my my life as a old familiar heartbreak. In my humble opinion, this is Bob Dylan at his very best. Genius never ages. I was stunned, moved and grateful for this gift to the music world. Bought me back to age 15 and to tears.
...an impressionist painting crossed with an epic, stream-of-consciousnesses poem set to a droning, hypnotic, improvisational-jazz-like score. Electrifying and heartbreaking and comforting at the same time.
This song is just what this time demands. "Stay observant" says the Bard. That means keep your eyes open, looking to the future and even understanding the present, one needs to see the past. "Murder Most Foul" helps with that.
