I was sort of on the Russell Poole side of things a few years ago—rouge LAPD cops that were gangsters, working for Suge Knight, killed Tupac and Biggie—but after reading the evidence and listening to the statements given to authorities, Kading easily refutes Poole’s theory.
Hopefully the addition of the documentary to Netflix in Spring 2016 will get people talking about the unsolved murders almost 2 decades later.
Tupac and Biggie were huge influential figures in rap and hip-hop and their legacies live on even today.
Their story deserves to be told in great detail and Kading is the man that should be telling it.
Shame on the LAPD for losing the motivation to connect Sean “Puffy” Combs and Suge Knight to these murders.
Thank you Afeni Shakur and Voletta Wallace for the contributions that your sons made to music, culture and society. We loved them and we love both of you. We still mourn with you today for both of your losses.
Even if you're someone who isn't a fan of the rap legends, the severe magnitude of the investigation and the uncovered findings are sure to fill you with shock and intrigue, amongst other emotions on this roller coaster of a ride.
Forget what you thought you knew and read the book!
Kading does gloss over many facts and there are times where you wish for further specifics and the minutiae of the case to be explored and discussed. Perhaps that was not the point. Either way, I would very much like to see this book discussed further and perhaps a documentary form in which further evidence is revealed.
I appreciate Mr. Kading for writing this book and shedding light on what really happened on those fateful nights in 1996 and 1997. For me, the murders of 2pac and Biggie have been solved...the proof in the pages of this book.
