"The Bible teaches that the truth will set us free, but Michael Smerconish and Maureen Faulkner teach us that even a powerful truth needs courage as its ally."
Chris Matthews - Host of Hardball with Chris Matthews and The Chris Matthews Show
Maureen Faulkner is a genuine American heroine. While influential people garner cheap headlines with stories of false injustice, Maureen Faulkner fights behind the scenes and in public to preserve the good name of her husband. This is a real justice story!”
John Timoney, Miami Chief of Police

"Murdered by Mumia" is a well-written recounting of the cold-blooded murder of Philadelphia police officer Danny Faulkner at the hands of social activist and self-styled journalist Wesley Cook, aka Mumia Abu-Jamal. It is also a very poignant look at the people Faulkner left behind, particularly his young wife, Maureen, and her struggle to see justice, so long delayed, finally done.
It's odd how Wesley Cook, whose guilt is undeniable to anyone who has followed this case closely and actually read the various court transcripts, has somehow become the poster boy for the anti-death penalty crowd. One can only hope that this book will help to acquaint the objective reader with the actual victim in this case, Danny Faulkner.
The second crime, which is almost as outrageous, is the legal and political travesty that Jamal and his ignorant followers have waged over the past quarter of a century. This time, the killer is elevated to the status of celebrity while the real victim is conveniently forgotten.
Do the mindless followers of killers like Mumia Abu Jamal really believe what they say? Of course not. Jamal's guilt is beyond dispute. No, what's really sick is that these people don't care, and their contempt for the truth, and for the victims of violent crime, is as shallow and dishonest as their false arguments.
For those fellow travelers and useful idiots who believe that the killer is someone other than Jamal or that his trial was somehow biased there will be no changing their mind. "Murdered by Mumia" is written for the rest of us who understand what the word "reasonable" really means. The tragedy is the pain and loss of the survivors of Officer Faulkner and the travesty of what has been done to our faith in a legal system gone awry.
My only regret that this book is published and sets the record straight is that Officer Daniel Faulkner's family will once again have to have this odious man's life defended by a bunch of fact-denying leftist fat-heads.
Mercifully, the book does not begin with some inflated apologetics on the life of Mumia Abu-Jamal, but instead focuses on facts, dates, logic, testimony, and discovery.
Smerconish does an excellent job of organizing all that Maureen Faulkner heroically has gathered, and documents carefully her suffering and the injustice of Officer Faulkner's memory by elevating this dastard. Far too much effort has gone to defending Mumia, and far too little effort has been made to punish him for the full justice he is due.
This work will finally put the case to rest and like Hiss before him, another icon of the Communist-Anarchist leftists is revealed as a fraud.
Truth is the daughter of time, and these authors deserve our thanks and we pray for the soul of Officer Daniel Faulkner.
Five stars for a great book exposing Mumia for what he is: A murderer. God bless Daniel Faulkner and his family.

Excellent book, well researched, it is a national disgrace that the left has made the murderer of a Policeman a hero, he should not be in prison, he should be dead!Published 19 months ago by ronbwolf
