Top Customer Reviews
I was looking for some understanding of the protagonist’s relentless promiscuity, but found none.
Grace is Kellerman’s Batwoman—a superhero with a dark past, but not quite traumatic enough to justify her Mrs. Hyde traits. As Dr. Jekyll, she’s a compassionate and brilliant psychologist. As Mrs. Hyde, she is a vigilante-in-the-making, and has sex with any meek, good-looking male for a series of fleeting encounters that appear to be Kellerman’s take on ultra-feminism meets sociopath.
The ending was one of the weakest I’ve seen in any of Kellerman’s novels, reducing what could have been a masterpiece into nothing more than a great read.
Nevertheless, I loved this book and highly recommend it, the ending notwithstanding.
