Gina could outmaneuver the monster man, but if she could't find her way out or escape Murdoch's eyes, she wouldn't stand a chance.
Although the descriptions of what Gina saw made me nearly lose my lunch at times; I could not stop reading.
I cannot tell you any more without giving too much away. All I can say in closing is, be very careful what toys you allow your children to play with.
what is it about green-eyed men that makes them so attractive and irresistible? Gina is about to find out in a very scary way.
author Jeff Bennington's supernatural thriller is an excursion into pure madness and unrelenting suspense. i was grabbed from the first few sentences to the last chilling one. the descriptive writing is strong and the pacing is as fast as the scenes that unfold.
there are only three characters but each one is well fleshed out. Gina's emotions are palpable and radiate off the pages. her terrifying experience is another example that bad things can and do happen to good people. the pull and power of Murdoch's eyes glow with terror and evil. he may be handsome but there is something wrong about him. Bruce, on the other hand, is innocence and goodness wrapped up in a hideous package.
the book's length may be short but i love how everything came together. Gina's story serves as a warning that looks can be deceiving at times and Murdoch and Bruce's playthings are better left untouched.
Gina could not resist Murdoch's Eyes no matter how hard she tried.
This short story reminded me of reading Edgar Allen Poe. I could envision Vincent Price playing the part of Murdoch.
I highly recommend this book! What makes a book great is it keeps your interest and the ending is a surprise, Which Jeff Bennington accomplishes.
