I bought this CD from Murs himself when I saw him perform with El-P at All Tomorrows Parties in England. When I actually looked closer at the album I saw that there was no song titles on the back but a pen is included in the packaging. Murs clearly wants you to name the songs yourself which I thought was very innovative and if I had thought about it I would have asked him to write them for me!
This album is amazing, it is 14 tracks strong and every single one is as dope and fresh as anything on an album by Atmsophere, Def Jux etc. Musically it is more commercial and the lyrics are as intelligent and witty as these other artists, the only difference being that Murs is more light-hearted in his words- the positivity of songs like, um, I'm guessing here..."The Zone"(?) are very refreshing if you have overplayed Atmosphere's angst-ridden verses and El-P's political rants (I am being hypothetical, I am not suggesting that you CAN overplay those guys!).
In a nutshell (because I am at work and should get on and do some) this album rocks throughout, and whatever you decide to name the songs, it probably won't do them justice!

there isn't much I can say about this album that anyone who has heard Murs doesn't already know. Murs is EASILY the sickest rapper period from the west coast. In my opinion this is Murs dopest album. Every song is crazy beats and lyrics alike. Not only that but the album comes with no titles and a pen. Mrus wants you to name them what you feel would be a good Title THATS SICK!!! My favorite song is definetly Way Tight(remix). If you are looking for another good Murs album i suggest his new one with 9th. Its alot shorter than this one but the beats are crazy and Murs gives you another good look into stories of his life. And if you like living ledgends get The Grouch Making Perfect Sense - Simple Man is the best track

But he rules the rap game. This album is one hot piece of underground shi..stuff. Murs is one laid back MC who's words are simple but make an impression. I can't believe the beats either, all these producers that I have never heard of, yet the beats are as good as can be. Hell, i'm listening to it right now as I write this, on Super Bowl Sunday. Maybe now you see why this album is so good. You will not be dissapointed, buy it now!

The world is yours.... Well thats how I felt after listening to this phenomenal album from one of the Westcoast's, excuse me, I mean The most underrated emcees PERIOD. I first discovered Murs listening to a mixtape that included #14 (rmx)and I was sold. Since then I have discovered his whole catalog minus this cd which I just got at the Rock the Bells 2006 show in San Bernadino. I knew you could name the tracks yourself but couldnt find this album anywhere. This 14 track banger has it all. Great production, lyrical content and Murs has such clear crisp delivery its hard not to understand what he says which helps you understand his message. You can credit Oso for a bulk of the production includung my favorite tracks #9(Enter the Zone) as well as #13. The concept of this album is great and sets it aside from most of the hip hop albums in the last 6 years. You can truly relate to Murs's tales ,whether its tales of crusing with nowhere to go or realizing your getting robbed if your girl dosent go down. Its also a a self help album without being preachy. Track #13 explains the concept of this project and im sure like Murs intended if you bought this album you named this track after yourself. Cuz it rules to be me and it sucks to be you. Which is true if you dont get this album NOW. This is a must have for any hip hop fan.Listen learn, and respect this album. You'll be lost without it.
