Jill Badonsky walks her talk in the world of creating, writing, and generously sharing the gold for the good of others. She is also extremely talented and hilarious.

This book, which is a delight to hold in your hands and to feast your eyes upon, is also incredibly practical and helpful if you're a someone who feels called, tempted, doubtful, self-critical (etc).

In addition to offering us a daily nugget of inspiration, she also shares ideas, steps along with wise and experienced encouragement for LIFE.

One of my favorite quotations Jill offered (early in the book) reached out and caught my heart: a beacon of creative kindness. (more below)

Also enclosed are "suggestions" and ideas to be creatively kind and supportive of yourself, your art, your creativity and expression.

I highly recommend ~~

The Muse is In: An owner’s manual to your creativity is exactly that. If you have ever been a bit lost in trying to find your creative voice then this is a map to help you. Beautifully written in a witty and engaging style it should be on every Creative Coaches book shelf. Written not only for coaches but also for anyone interested in developing their creativity, it is an easy read and full of exercises and tool to help you explore your creativity. It offers solution to help find focus, enjoyment in the process and tools to counter other block. I have both the hard copy and the digital version and refer to them both regularly. Highly recommend it.

If you are an artist, writer, Creator of any kind (and we ALL are, you know), this book is an absolute must-have. I've been enjoying Ms. Badonsky's work for several years. Bought the last one and really enjoyed it too. But THIS one...well, let's just say that I could feel my Creative Self doing a dance as I read. It's one of those books you'll want to carry around with you. There are countless tools, nudges, tricks, reminders, etc. to add to your arsenal of creative tools. I don't care how good you are, this book is bound to make you better at your craft. And then there's Jill's art. I just don't have words for that part. (see? I NEED this book to hone my own craft!). She has such a unique style laced with large doses of humor and a smidgen of "awww", that you can't help but giggle. It's as much about the WAY she presents the art as the combination of both (art and words). I'm tellin' you, if you are or want to be more creative, this book needs to make its way to you. I give it 10 stars...and then some.
