About the Author
Tom Wakeling is the retired Chair of the Music Department at Clackamas Community College in Portland, Oregon. He was the lead faculty member in the planning, design and construction of a successful performing arts and music technology building at his college. Wakeling's expertise lies in a thorough understanding of the planning, design, and construction processes and the ability to help guide fellow educators to a successful outcome. Wakeling's mission is to educate teachers about how the process works and to share strategies and procedures that he has found successful in his own experience.
