So glad I no longer have to carry around papers. The only reason this app didn't get 5 stars is that it doesn't offer a way to play the music like it does from the computer. That addition would make it a five star app. Hoping for it in a future update.

For those of you who actively use musicnotes.com, this app is great! It's easy to sync your purchases, and you can even access the musicnotes store directly from the app. You can also make notes on and highlight your music, which I find very helpful. One of my favorite downloads so far!!!

I love the Musicnotes website and have used it for both personal and professional reasons (I am music teacher). Yes, the scores maybe a bit pricey in some people's opinions, but as a musician let me just say that sometimes you get what you pay for and when you order cheap music sometimes it is cheap for a reason. The quality of the music is good but the app itself keeps force closing for no reason whatsoever. And by the way, I am on a Kindle. I love the idea of being able to keep my scores on my Kindle...it's so much easier than carrying a binder full of paper scores! But, at the same time is of no good to me if it's going to force close every time I try to turn a page or open a score.

I'm a professional musician. I've already downloaded to my Ipad over 100 songs from this company. Unfortunately, on several occasions a song has suddenly changed from the song I've been playing to another song I've downloaded. Although the title will still say the song, the actual song which comes up is a different one. I've tried everything, from redownloading to shutting down the app and reopen one. While I've contacted the company several times, their responses have been "canned," and non-responsive......

Just got an organ after being without one for over 10 years.. Lost most of my old music in the move from another state. By printing out music from here and putting in plastic sleeves and in a loose leaf notebook, I can get to play more music in a short time, rather than going from music book to music book and checking contents and finding the song you want to play, plus some are so hard to keep open at the page you want to play... So many great at such a reasonable price. I am in the process of making copies of songs that i play often and putting them also in my notebook.. What a great gift the day I found Musicnotes!!!.

I think that this is a great app for people who want to play their favorite song, or if you just want to get a new, cool song to play. All of your music is easy to read and the store is is pretty big with tens of thousands of songs for every kind of instrument. It has guitar tab, and a lot of other arrangements for songs too, which I think I Pretty good. I've personally bought a lot of songs on it and love it. BUT, there are some problems. First off, the app has some sort of glitch where it force shuts down when your in the store a lot. That can be annoying. Also, the songs are pretty expensive. The app may be free, but most of the songs are five dollars apiece, which to me is kind of crazy for a three page song! If you buy a song, you can view it on the app as long as you want, but you can only print it once then it costs you another three dollars to print again. Still, I think it's worth getting, since the app itself is free and the glitch will probably get fixed in a future version. I say it's worth the download. Try it for yourself.

Scores are not accurate. I previewed, "Stay With Me" by Sam Smith for a piano student and we purchased it, only to find out it was missing many, many ties that completely changed the rhythm. Ok, so easy fix, right? Actually, when I emailed to let them know about this and asked for either a refund or that they fix the score, they emailed back with this BS response that completely missed addressing the issue. Plus, any amateur musician would agree that completely altering the rhythm is significantly different than simplifying chords or leaving a few notes out here and there (aside from the melody itself). Plus, none of the other versions available are for piano solo with the melody not written as a separate line item (yes, I checked), so they wouldn't meet my needs anyway!

"Many pieces (especially Piano/Vocal and Piano/Vocal/Guitar scorings) are not actual note-for-note transcriptions of the recording. Publishers will intentionally simplify these arrangements, including changing the key, to make them more playable for most musicians.
You’ll want to look for "Transcription", "Transcribed Solo", "Note-for-Note Transcription", "Recorded Transcription", "Recorded Versions" or "Transcribed Score". For more info: Why isn't the music I printed just like the recording?"

I called them and explained this to a very nice guy who explained that yes, they can correct the score and send me an updated score at no cost, but I have to tell them which measures need correcting.
