About the Author
Ken Cashion has been a musician for over 60 years. The last 53 years have been as a performer/song writer and he has been active in many music groups. He designs, adjusts, and repairs musical instruments. His principal interest is in the history of music, and particularly in that from 1900 to 1939. During his 37-year engineering career, he wrote myriad scientific papers and technical procedures; the last 27 years were with NASA. He holds two patents through NASA. Additionally, he has had nonfiction articles in the national press and, as a historian and Anglophile, has made five trips to Britain for a total of 30 weeks. As a result of his archaeological field work he has written and taught three college courses on the social history of Britain from 500,000 B.C. to 1700 A.D. As a professional photographer for 58 years, his images have been seen in many publications. Mr. Cashion continues his writing and research in a small, quiet South Mississippi town where he lives with his wife, Bettie.
