Good quality muslin bags.

These bags did the job for me, but just barely. Many of the other reviewers talked about cutting the bags in half they were so big, but the ones I received could not have been the same length. If I cut them they would not hold my grains by any stretch. As they are, they can barely hold the 5.5lbs of grain I use on average. If they were used as hop bags, I could see cutting them down perhaps, but not for grain.
Muslin is always great to have around the kitchen anyway for various uses and these bags are good quality with no lint or frayed ends shedding into your food / brew.

**Edit** After using three or four of these bags, we pulled one out to find it double the size of the ones we used in the past. Same pack of bags, just a larger size. Still using the same 5.5lbs of grain, so that isn't the issue. Might want to check your pack to make sure of the sizes you're getting in the entire package, especially if you use more grains than extracts.

They work great, a little pricey but they are well size, good quality, i boiled one of the bags for 2+ hours and it held together. I would buy again.

I recommend washing the product first, I even think i could reuse it if i really wanted to, seems strong enough to take a light bleaching.

I should have paid more attention to the reviews - these bags are very small! However, I did find use for them by holding small amounts of cardamom and orange peel. You can tie them up and throw them right in the kettle. I didn't try using it to hold pellet hops, but I have doubts that it would hold anything in. It would probably work well for small amounts of leaf hops though.

I've ordered the exact same item from Home Brew Ohio in the past and was previously very happy with the bags. This time the bags that arrived were half the length of the previous orders. Not happy at all. The bags that showed up are ~12" in length before filling. This means they hold much less if you want to have any room at all to tie the top of the bag after filling.
I gave it two stars since it's a muslin bag, and yes it still does what a muslin bag does. You just can't fit much into it.

tiny tiny bag

I bought these because the description said they could be used for grains. These things are tiny. I do not see how they could be used for grains. Now hops yes these tiny things could be used for hops, I was going to try a Brew in a Bag and ended just using the mash tun without a bag. Again, not for brewing probably just hopping. I really think they sent me the wrong bag.

My husband uses these for beer making.I use them when I make home made broths.Easier than cheesecloth. Line a strainer or colander(small to medium) with the bag and ladle the stuff you don't want to save into the bag. When you are done just gather the end of the bag into a "sock" and throw away. No spills and not much mess other than drips.

I didn't get 10 bags, I got 9, and they were very, very, small. If you're brewing batches under 3 gallons then they might work, but even then they're pretty small. This was a very bad deal, and a regretful purchase.
