Make a splash in your kitchen with our playful chopping board. Our bright red food prep board looks like it's about to drip over the edge of your worktop, but actually the suspended drip is securing the board against the worktop - clever hey?! Not only that but the drip can be removed so it's easy to keep your chopping board clean.

My biggest complaint is the label. From what fresh hell was this conceived? They used some kind of rocket aged supermega- uberultra sticky glue that must have been designed to hold heat shield tiles to the space shuttle. After removing some of it I had hoped the dishwasher would finish the job, but no such luck. The glue persevered. I'm a pretty handy guy and if this wasn't going to be touching food I would have brought out the hardcore chemicals to remove it, but I don't have any interest in a cutting board that causes liver failure. I tried cooking oil, vinegar, Dawn, a knife, boiling water, a scotch bright pad, a magic eraser and masking tape. 40 precious minutes later I finally managed to clean it off with a combination of all of the above and three servings of elbow grease.
I really like the splash down part BUT my counter and drawers do not like it...whoever designed the kitchen I have made the drawers a little to close to the top of the counter so you can't open the drawer this is above when it is in use. I consider this more of a house building flaw than a design flaw as it works fine on the other counter...which is between the stove and fridge and too small to consider standing there cutting things up at.
Since I bought the cutting board to give as a novelty gift for my college-aged son (together with the "crime scene" trivet), I clearly couldn't give an incomplete item (but he loved the trivet!). The "splash" is currently sitting under a potted plant on the corner of my kitchen counter. It's amusing, though not particularly practical.
