About the Author
Ozi Okaro is a Canadian of Nigerian descent. She spent a large part of her childhood living in Nigeria, and now lives with her husband and four children in the United States.
Okaro holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York. She also received a bachelor of science in computer science and statistics from the University of Toronto in Canada.
Okaro founded African Girl Brands, which creates toys, books, and educational materials specifically for children of African descent. My Africa Vacation is her third children’s book, following The Big Ceremony and ABC’s Trip to Africa.
