This book is great, because it explains how our DNA works and how Covid-19 affects our breathing and lungs.
It's explained in an easy way, almost like a story, and with some lovely illustrations.
These really help you picture what is going on inside the human body.
The underlying sense of humour adds another layer of 'fun' to the learning experience.
I got this book for my 10 year old daughter. We loved reading it together and learning about what goes on inside our cells and the important role of DNA.
Children have been affected by Covid-19 in many ways, it can be hard for them to understand what is going on in the world, and how a small thing like a virus can cause so much trouble.
So this book really helped to have a clearer picture, and possibly reduce some of the anxiety around the topic.
