About the Author
Anna Othitis lived and was raised in the beautiful land and country of Zimbabwe, Africa (home will always be home) but, due to political turmoil, left all of her memories and good people behind. After traveling long and short distances from the East coast to the West coast twice she and her family eventually found their sense of belonging and final settling destination in Wanaque, New Jersey, USA. Her husband George, sons Johnny, Elia and Frankie encouraged her to write her first children’s book titled “My First Travel Book”, inspired by Frankie (Captain Frankie), who is graduating from his Masters degree in Aeronautical Science and beginning his career as a professional pilot. Anna's favorite saying is “Be Bold Be Brave”. She was inspired to write my children’s books by Frankie, and the books link up the children of the world on Angelic Airlines to so many beautiful places of interest on our wonderful planet Earth with all its beautiful creations and resources. They educate our children and widen their scope of interest in the amazing surroundings, creations and nature to appreciate and look after our environment for many generations still to come.

Because I felt that there could have been just a bit more info and illustrations of the popular places in these countries that you did represent this is why I
am giving only four stars, see? I would because of this recommend this ebook for the very young and those with a very short attention span to read perhaps as a very short nap or bedtime story for an adult to read to them or someone say in the first or second grade reading level! I received this free book in a Daily Free ebooks emailing list that comes to me everyday that one can download free ebooks then for free and at no member ship frees at all! Thanks Anna for making this ebook possible for more people to be able to read at no charge at all! Great work! By Angela
Coop and I sat down last night and read through this short story. I would say it's perfect for an 8-10 year-old, or perhaps younger if they're an excellent reader. It was a quick read and covered six famous places in the world to visit. Cooper was particularly excited about Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower as we hope to visit those locations on our trip. When we finished the book (in about 15 minutes) I asked him a few questions.
BFF K: What did you like about the book?
Coop: All the different places to visit.
BFF K: What was your favorite place?
Coop: Big Ben
BFF K: Who do you think would like this book?
Coop: Kids, like 8,9,10 year-old kids would like it.
BFF K: What do you think now that you have read the book?
Coop: It makes me want to go visit those places.
And there's what you want from a good book, something learned and a sense of adventure instilled!
We highly recommend My First Travel Book!

This is the perfect children's book for bedtime with a kid that LOVES to procrastinate going to sleep. It took us less than 5 minutes to read and it was mentally stimulating enough to make him sleepy.
But more than that! This little book inspires our little dreamers to one day travel the world. If enough kids read, and open their minds and hearts to new cultures and experiences, perhaps they will have a better chance of making this world a peaceful and better place. Maybe they will look after our beautiful world better than we ever could. Perhaps our future generations will succeed where we have failed.
This slim volume caught my eye, aimed I imagine at 5-7 year olds and is designed to inspire a wonder of some of the world’s fantastic sights.
You are welcomed on board Angelic Airlines and looked after by Captain Frankie as he flies his plane to seven extraordinary wonders, both natural and man-made. There are several fun and interesting facts for each place visited and the flag of the applicable countries are illustrated.
This book is just made for every budding Andy or Dora the Explorer and might well sow the seeds for a bit of wanderlust in later years.
My slight quibble is the quality of the book. It is an overly soft, malleable product – reminiscent of an exercise book – with an easily-creased cover. It will inevitably be putty in the hands of smaller children and will therefore probably not last the journey!
