P.S. The Toothy plush that you order on myfriendtoothy.com has brought the story alive!

You can't refer to a singular in the plural. Let's be real. I've whited out the two incorrect pronouns and wrote 'he' in place which is generically used since toothy is a character and not an it. Of course you could use 'she' if you wanted to personalize it for a girl. But to call toothy a 'they' is just awkward and incorrect.
With that nonsense out of the way, the book reads wonderfully. The story is great and the rhyming text on each page makes it a pleasure to read. My grandson loves when I read him this book and it's part of his bedtime routine.
Also imho, I thought it would have been nice if it showed 'before' and 'after' pictures of Piper's mouth with and then without the sugar bugs. I feel that if a child only sees the one pic with sugar bugs it leaves that impression of them still being there.

When he was gifted a stuffed tooth from a classmate's parent, he immediately named it Toothy.
